Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of main diesel engine driven Fire pump of 50 Hp water cooled, centrifugal type, confirming to relevant IS standard with auto staring mechanism, 12/24 volts electric starting equioment, diesel tank, exhaust pipe extended upto 10m outside pump house duly insulated with 50mm thick glass wool with 1.0mm thick aluminium cladding, resedential silencer, instruments and protection as per standard specification, stop solenoid for auto stop in the event of fault with audio indications, painted with post office red colour etc. as required. The pump shall be rated for 1620 LPM at 75 head. The pump shall be coupled to a suitable industrial diesel engine.The engine shall be of continuosly rated for the operation of the pump load. The Pump should be Horizontal Type, Multi stage, centrifugal pump of cast iron body and bronze impeller with stainless steel shaft, mechanical seal confirming to IS 1520. The pump accessories include the fitments such as coupling, coupling guard, baseplate, foundation vibration damping arrangement, foundation bolts etc as required.
