Note for item pertaining to point wiring :- (i) Quoted rates are deemed to include for all provisions under preambles 1 (a) to (q), 2 (a) to ( e) & 3 under Sub Section B on Sl Page Nos 437 & 438 of MES Schedule Part_II. (ii) Pressed steel terminal boxes for point wiring shall be suitable for modular fittings and shall be deemed to be quoted in rates for point wiring

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, (fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators sockets etc. to be measured separately), removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody for reuse at site or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc.

Taking down carefully by unscrewing from boards/ outlet boxes, fittings and fixtures such as switches, sockets, ceiling roses, lamp holders, brackets, ceiling fittings, bulk head fittings, tube light fittings and regulators, etc. for reuse at site or carrying to the store (To be measured only when found serviceable in all respects complete for reuse) or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately)

Taking down carefully ceiling fan / exhaust fan / cabin fan / wall mounted fan by disconnecting electric connection for repairing such as rewinding, replacement of defective spare part, over hauling and painting etc as required and re-fixing in the same position after carry out the repairs works, testing and connecting complete all as specified and directed Note:- (i) Repairing such as rewinding, replacement of defective spare part, connecting wire etc will be measured & paid for separately as supply & fix in repairs (ii) Over hauling and painting will be measured & paid for separately. (iii) After repair / replacement of worn-out parts, the fan will be tested to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge and in case of failure of test, the same shall be repaired at contractor's cost.

M & L for rewinding of ceiling fan 1200/1400 mm sweep of any make by dismantling the ceiling fan, removing the burnt winding, cleaning slot, replacement of defective nuts, bolts, washers etc and rewinding with using appropriate size of super enameled copper winding wire thermal class-E, including varnishing and reassembling and testing complete all as specified and directed.

All as item No 86 above but exhaust fan 300/450 mm sweep.

Supply and fix in repairs ball bearing, ISI marked, of any size of ceiling fan of 1200 mm / 1400 mm sweep complete.

Supply and fix in repairs Gun metal bush of any size of ceiling fan of 1200 mm / 1400 mm sweep complete.

Supply and fix in repairs capacitor 2.5 MFD AC 230 Volt 50 HZ, of ceiling fans of any size.

Supply and fix in repairs capacitor 4 MFD AC 230 Volt 50 HZ, of exhaust / bracket fans of any size.

Supply and fix in repairs rubber bush with clamp bolt, nuts, washers and split pin for the down rod of ceiling fan of any size.

Supply and fix in repairs PVC insulated, PVC sheathed three core copper conductor cable multi stranded of size 0.5 Sqmm for connecting of fan from ceiling rose complete.

Supply and laying in repairs Tubes of bore 20 mm dia, 'Medium grade', galvanised, with all fittings; laid in trenches/ Floor / fixing on pole / wall complete & all as specified and directed. .

Supply and laying in repairs Tubes of bore 25 mm dia, 'Medium grade', galvanised, with all fittings; laid in trenches/ Floor / fixing on pole / wall complete & all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in repairs Tubes of bore 50 mm dia, 'Medium grade', galvanised, with all fittings; laid in trenches/ Floor / fixing on pole / wall complete & all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Gun-metal, globe or gate valves of size 20mm bore ISI marked with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Gun-metal, globe or gate valves of size 25mm bore ISI marked with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Gun-metal, globe or gate valves of size 50mm bore ISI marked with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, all as specified and directed
