Routine/Breakdown Patrolling of 400KV D/C Transmission Line (48.788 km) (Every 15days) fornightly including tree pruning along the corridor and around tower legs, respositioning of earth wire, checking, lightening & positioning of fasteners, minor repair of tower legs with material like cement, sand, chips reinforcement etc & back filling of earth erosion of tower legs along the corridor, lowering uploading the earth wire in emergency condition and other imperative works as per requirement and direction of E/I and supply of all category of manpower - fitter, welder, technician, unskilled etc. and vehicle with fuel & Driver required for the work.

Trip top patrolling of the line in case of fault / tripping

Breakdown maintenance of Transmission Line

Transportation of materials by small/medium size truck from transmission C/S Namkum to store or GSS to various location at site

Mesurment of Tower footing resistance (146 x2 times in a year) including arrangement of measuring instrument.

Providing vehicle to departmental officer I/C for condition monitoring etc. time to time of transmission lines including fuel charge with driver (per month).
