Providing services for operation and maintenance of Sewage treatment plant 30 M³ per day capacity (30KLD) at NIAT (80 CPOs/50 POs Accommodation) OTM Complex near Vikrant Block comprising of following characteristic of inlet raw sewage /out let treated sewage equipments/ machines and pump sets including testing and operation of valves and allied work including Saturdays/ Sundays/ holidays for operation of system as and when required and also carry out minor repairs / servicing /rectification of faults as and when required to all machines/ Equipments and valves to ensure 100% serviceability and Maintain the ppm level both inlet raw sewage and out let treated sewage of plants and removing Scaling Materials, mud Materials grass/surface dressing from surrounding area, complete all as specified. Notes:- (a) Minimum qualification for technical staff shall be ITI / ITC qualified tradesmen (Electrician/Diesel Mechanic) and operated from 0600 hours to 2200 hours in 2 shifts of 8 hours each shift (one tradesman in each shift). Any other man power of helper shall be provided by the contractor as per site requirement. Rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (b) Record / daily log sheet shall be maintained in log book by the operator and shall be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. (c) The operator shall be responsible for checking and maintaining the water parameters like BOD < 10mg/Ltr, COD<30mg/Ltr, P.H 6.5-8.5, Fecal coli form Nil in MPN/100ml, required chlorine 0.5, TSS <10mg/Ltr, Nitrogen N 5 mg/Ltr, Oil grease<10gm/Ltr . (d) Daily cleaning of floor area and maintain a good and hygienic sanitation around the installation. (e) Stationary items such as registers, log book etc should be provided by the contractor. (f) The contractor shall be responsible for getting the STP water samples tested by an NABL approved water testing laboratory and the test result to be submitted as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, Expenditure of testing shall be measured and paid separately. (g) Non providing of operator in a day by the contractor shall invite penalty of Rs. 2500/- per shift from his due amount.

Providing services for operation and maintenance of Sewage Disposal Installation located at Sanjivani comprising of following equipments/ machines and pump sets including testing and operation of valves and allied work including Saturdays/ Sundays/ holidays for operation of system as and when required and also carry out minor repairs / servicing / rectification of faults as and when required to all machines/ Equipments and valves to ensure 100% serviceability of plants and removing scaling material, mud materials grass / surface dressing from surrounding area, complete all as specified. SPECIAL NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEN NO 1 & 2 GST LIABILITY It is considered prudent to specify that the GST is included in the rates quoted against items of outsourcing as well as items of repairs/comprehensive maintenance to be paid separately under material and labour’ parts. MONTHLY WAGES Monthly wages shall be paid by the contractor to the workers/labour only online. Proof of statutory deductions in favour of workers/labour shall be submitted by the contractor to the Engineer in Charge along with RAR/Final Bill for verification. The contractor will be required to submit copy of valid labour licence from the Labour Commissioner within 15 days of commencement of the work BASIC RATE, EPF, ESIC, BONUS, OVER HEAD PROFIT, TAXES & LWC The bidder to quote basic rate, employer's contribution towards Employees Provident Fund (EPF) liability, contribution towards Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), contribution towards bonus, overhead and profit and labour welfare cess (LWC) separately, as applicable depending upon the manpower requirement. This will create onus on the contractor to ascertain the relevant rates and quote accordingly. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, cess, and levies as applicable including GST as prevailing applicable law. Contractor shall be note liable for the same.

Material & Labour for attending of breakdown in machinery of Mechanical Laundry & STP at INHS Sanjivani and OTM Complex of Naval Base Kochi near Vikrant Block, detection of nature of defect including carry out minor repairs, loose connection, change small length of wire as required size to make the machine functional, opening of switch board and refixing the same after necessary repair, etc complete all as specified and directed. NOTES: - (a) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the elements of labour only for rectifying and making the machine functional for minor repair. If replacements of parts / items is required to make the equipment/machine functional the cost of labour and material for the same shall be measured and paid for as " Supply & Fix in repairs" under relevant items of this schedule hereinafter. (b) If breakdown shall not be attended & rectified the same day as received by the contractor except rewinding of Motor and other major spares as specified, the recovery will be made @ ₹ 500/- per breakdown per day. And after 15 days of nonfunctional of any machine as specified for any reason the recovery will be made @ ₹ 2500/- per day till the machine operational.

Material & Labour for scrubbing, cleaning thoroughly for removing the dirt, sediments, silts, sludge and untreated effluent etc, from the Sewage Collection Tank (UG sump) bottom & wall of capacity 30,000 Litres by using brushes and by using the water jet with help of machines and other cleaning materials as required including removing the sludge/waste water complete by using external sludge pumps, Sludge De-watering by using external waste water sludge/effluent tankers and deposit the sludge/ effluent outside the defence land complete including taking out existing submersible pump from sump while cleaning and install the same after cleaning with necessary tools complete and applying two coats of lime wash inside the wall surface of the tanks including writing the words " DATE OF CLEANING" in capital letters of suitable size on outside visible place of UG sump with synthetic enamel paint (white over black back ground) including cleaning of outside surfaces by using the water jet and wire brush and apply two coats of colour washing (colour should be light yellow) of outside surface of UG sump complete all as specified. Note: - Rate quoted shall deem to include the cost of vehicle arrangement for sludge collection by the contractor.
