DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Taking down carefully old us point wiring (Light fan socket or power) complete, (fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets etc), removing materials from site and making good disturbed surface of walls, floors etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for point wiring surface type with 1.5 Sqmm, single core (FRLS), PVC insulated with multistranded unsheathed copper conductor cable including rigid non metallic PVC surface conduit 20 mm or higher dia, ISI marked complete with all PVC conduit accessories / fittings and sunk switch boxes with 3 mm thick plastic laminated hard glossy surface sheet (white) top cover, including continuous earth wire of PVC insulated, unsheathed, 1.5 Sqmm multistrand copper conductor (FRLS) connected to all fittings, sunken boxes and common earth and connected to earth dolly , screwed with screws, cup washers complete all as specified and directed for the following :-

(a) One light point/ fan/ exhaust fan point/bell point controlled by one, one way switch of 5/6 Amps.

(b)one socket outlet three pin 5 amps control by one switch on the same board

(c)one socket outlet three pin 5 amps control by one switch on independent board

(d) One light point controlled by two, two way switch of 5/6 amps

All as per Item No 3 above but with 2.5 Sq mm cable (FRLS) for one 15 Amp socket outlet controlled by one switch on independent board and 2.5 Sqmm PVC insulated unsheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable as continuous earth wire complete.

M & L for point wiring concealed type with 1.5 Sqmm, single core (FRLS), PVC insulated with multistranded unsheathed copper conductor cable including rigid non- metallic exhusting PVC concealed conduit 20 mm or higher dia, heavy grade ISI marked complete with all PVC conduit accessories / fittings and sunk switch boxes with 3 mm thick plastic laminated hard glossy surface sheet (white) top cover, including continuous earth wire of PVC insulated, unsheathed, 1.5 Sqmm multistrand copper conductor (FRLS) connected to all fittings, sunken boxes and common earth and connected to earth dolly ,screwed, cup washers complete all as specified and directed for the following :- Note: Cost of cutting chasing and making good of surface shall be deemed included in quoted unit rate.

Supply and fix in replacement of LED Integrated Batten with Polycarbonate housing, surface mounted, (1x9 Watt) prewired including electric electrical connection with PVC insulated twin twisted copper wire of size 0.75 Sqmm from ceiling rose to tube light fitting and including taking down old fitting complete all as specified and directed. Supply and Fix in repair of 1x20 watt LED security light fitting, pressure die-cast aluminium including fixing the same of GI pipe 25 mm dia bore light grade bracket, 1.5 mtr long including necessary cutting / bending /welding and fixed the same with two Nos FI clamps of 40x4mm duly painted and suitable size of nut & bolts etc. and making electric connection with two core copper flexible wire of 0.50 Sqmm complete and including taking down old fitting all as specified and directed. Material & Labour for sub main wiring with 1100 volts grade PVC insulated and unsheathed cable with stranded copper conductor 2x4 Sqmm, of code Red for Phase,Black For Neutral & Green For Earth concealed in wall and drawn in including PVC conduit along with 4 Sqmm single core copper conductor multi stranded cable as earth continuity conductor including taking down existing submain wiring complete all as specified and as directed. Note: 1. Three runs of 4 Sqmm and one run of PVC conduit shall be measured as one unit. 2. Cost of cutting chasing and making good of surface shall be deemed included in quoted unit rate.

Supply & fixing in replacement of 1100 volts grade heavy duty round cable with PVC insulated aluminiuum conductor served with an inner sheating of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connection suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 mtr apart including 4mm suspention wire one twin core 10sqmm solid conductor complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in replacement XLPE LT 1100 volts underground earthed cable, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable heavy duty 1100V with multi stranded, aluminum conductor of cross sectional area 16 Sqmm, 4 Core including laying, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Excavation & eartwork shall be measured and paid separately under respective items

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil for foundation of poles, structures, stay rods, laying of underground cable etc like such work but not exc 10 Sqm on plan complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in soils including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers each not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for dry sand cushioning to underground cables in layer (8 cm thick before laying of cables and 15 cm thick after laying and stretching of cable) as in trenches for cable protection or under floor or in foundation and gentally hand ramming and consolidation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Sand thickness shall be measured only 18 cm after punning

M & L for brick protection cover of UG cable by using old size sub class 'B''common burnt clay building bricks, laid dry and flat abutting each other with width equal to length of the brick and gap between adjacent brick not exc 10 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in replacement for GI tubing 40 mm dia light grade for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for repair of exhaust fan AC single phase 230/240V of size 400/450 mm sweep with rewinding super enameled copper winding wire of suitable size and proving with suitable insulation including repalcement of wornout nut bolt washer blade split pin etc reassembling and testing on completion and refix in position complete all as specified and directed

M & L for repair of PVC / metalic exhaust fan AC single phase 230/240V of size 250/300 mm sweep with rewinding super enameled copper winding wire of suitable size and proving with suitable insulation including repalcement of wornout nut bolt washer blade split pin etc reassembling and testing on completion and refix in position complete all as specified and directed

M & L for earthing in replacement complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 m deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4.0mm dia by means of bolts, nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in earth plate No 5 of MES schedule 1991 part – I connected to earthing test point including earth continuity conductor and loop earthing etc. as required 4 mm dia galvanized iron or steel wire including necessary excavation and earth work, concrete pit & chamber in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 & pit cover 75mm thck in RCC 1:2:4 type B1 dully reinforced with 6mm dia bar @ 150 c/c both ways including with lifting handle and Earth lead and GI protection pipe light grade 15 mm dia beyond 7.5 mtr from electrode to earth terminal point /main switch board and 20mm bore GI watering pipe medium grade etc. complete all as specified and directed.
