od31931/2019_2020 : Providing and installing Anti static conductive epoxy flooring by final cleaning of the base floor( base floor should of m25 grade 12.5mm thickness with power finish, undulations should not be more than 1mm), Stir the individual components of R 625 CE Primer (2 components conductive range primer) before mixing, pour part A and part B in suitable sized mixing vessel and mix them using slow speed drilling machine fixed with mixing paddle.Apply the mixed R625 CE primer over 1-2 coats of dried epoxy primer coat using roller in two coats at a time gap 6-8 hrs and at total thickness of 175 to 200 micron. Poorly primed surface may lead to blistering ,a pin-holing and more importantly the conductive values may get affected.After application of first coat,place self adhesive copper tape of 12-210mm width and 70-100 micron thick at the periphery of the primed surface.Allow the primed surface to dry. Apply the second coat and allow it to dry completely. The individual components of the R625CE ( 3 component, high performance,anti static, conductive self smoothing epoxy flooring system) Top coat shall be thoroughly stirred before being mixed together. The entire contents of the part A and part B should be poured in to a larger mixing vessel to incorporate the part C . The mixing shall be carried out using slow speed heavy duty drilling machine fixed with mixing paddle until a consistent homogeneous mix is achieved.Do not over mix, as it results to an increase in the resistance of the floor and may no longer comply with the specification for the anti-static floors along with issues like air entrapment and also reduces the pot life.R625CE top Coat shall be applied at 2mm thickness to the prepared and primed surface with out delay using trowel or depth set rake.As soon as the application is done, the surface shall be rolled using spike roller to release the entrapped air while mixing and also bend the trowel marks.The applied work area shall be protected during the installation and also during the initial curing time for at least 24 hrs. Do not steam, clean or use hot water above 55 Deg C to wash the surface.
