Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/ mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock, chiseling wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades, width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same with in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transporation of unuseful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportations including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals, necessary to complete the work by mechanical means /labour if required. All useful material such as stones shingle, aggregate and slates etectra shall be sorted out and stacked in proper stack. Recovery of stone to the tune of 73.77 Cubic metre quantity at the rate of Rs.300/-(Rupees Three hundred)only per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractors running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/ private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. Earth work in excavaxtion for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiseling/ wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides, bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetres) compacted thickness including shoring ,strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and quantam of water including cleaning of slush which any arrise out during dewatering as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete 1:5:10 (One cement isto five Sand isto ten graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (Forty milimetre) nominal size on ground or under water complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying concrete complete for all heights/depths in retaining wall and breast wall etcetre as per drawing and M.O.R.D. Technical Specification section 800, 900, 1200 and 1600 including cost of form work and curring complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads,lifts and other incldential. Back filling with granular material behind abutments, return walls, wing walls and retaining walls complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D. Technical specification section 1200 and 1600, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 100mm (One hundred milimetre) diametre Poly Vinyl chloride pipe weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing walls, return wall and retaining walls/breast walls etcetra extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1(V):20(H) (One vertical isto twenty horizental) towards draining face complete as per drawing and MORD Technical specification section 700 and 1200, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300mm (Three hundred millimetre) below the sub grade level, watered, graded with motor grader and compacted in layers to meet the requirement of Table 300.1 and 300.2 with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to one hundred) kN static roller for sub grade construction as per M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing, laying spreading and compacting by mechanical means stone aggregagte size 63mm to 45mm (Sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) Grading-II (75mm (Seventy five millimetre) consolidated thickness to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 (Eighty to one Hundred)kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening type-B of size 11.2mm (Eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate of 0.20 (Zero point two zero cubic metres) per ten square metre and binding material at the rate of 0.06 (Zero point zero six cubic metre) per ten square metre to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregagte, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD technical specification section 400 and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. (Zero point two seven five kilogram per square metre) using mechanical means as per MORD technical specification section 500 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm (Twenty millimetre) compacted thickness, composed of Type-A 13.2mm (Thirteen decimal two millimetre) to 5.6mm (Five decimal six millimetre) aggregate for wearing course including loading of aggregate with front end loader heating binder and aggregate in hot mix plant 30/40 (Thirty/Forty) Tonne per hour capacity transporting mixed material with tipper to site of work and laying with paver finisher to the required grade and camber and rolling with power road roller 8/10 Tonne using 0.27 cum (Zero point two seven cubic metre) of graded stone aggregagte mixed with 14.6 kg (Fourteen point six kilogram) of bitumen binder using VG-10 (Viscosity grade ten) per ten square metre of road surface to required line, grade and level but excluding the cost of Tack coat and seal coat inclusive of all corrective, measures such as laying of profile corrective coarse for all depth filling of depression for all depth and construction of super elevation and camber, where required as per MORD technical specifications section 500 by mechanical means including hauling of material labour and equipment required to execute the work at site of work within all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and laying seal coat for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to specified level grade and cross fall using type-B manual means as per MORD technical specification section 500 using VG-10 (Viscosity grade ten) at the rate of 6.8 kg (Six point eight kilogram) premixed with 0.06 (Zero point zero six) cubic metre of fine aggregate spread uniformally per 10 sqm(Ten square metre) of road surface, including heated in Hot Mix Plant 30/40 (Thirty/ Forty) tonne and laying of mixed materials and rolling with power road roller 80-100 (Eighty- Hundred) kN static road roller as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material, machinery and equipment required to execute the work to the site of work complete within all leads , lifts and other incidentals. Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base with 43 (forty three) grade cement or any other type as per section1500 M-30 (M-Thirty) grade, coarse and fine aggregate confirming to ISI :383 maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm (Twenty five millimetre) mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum (Zero point Two) cubic metre capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side form work (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron (One hundred twenty five micron) thick polythene film wedges, steel plates including levelling the form work as per drawing, spreading, the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, dowel bars near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixture as approved curing of concrete slab, for 14 days using curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 1500 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
