REPAIR/MAINT OF SUBMERSIBLE AND CENTRIFUGAL PUMP MOTORS AND SUBMERSIBLE CABLE, MS COLUMN PIPE, STARTER, LT PANEL BOARDS, ITEMS INCL CI PIPE LINE AND WATER RESERVE TANK PUMP HOUSE AT TECH AND RESIDENTIAL AREA AT DEAL UNDER GE (I) RND DEHRADUN

Attending emergency breakdown of water supply installation where directed. lifting defective submersible pumpset, column pipes (any number) from borewell, setting aside and stacking column pipes for reuse, transportation the pumpset to MES store yard for checking of repair work, transportation of serviceable pumpset from MES store yard to bore well, lowering of submersible pumpset with column pippes in the borewell as existing with new nut, bolts and washer including rubber gasket 3 mm thickand making water and electrical connections as existing for running of pump motors complete, all as specified and directed. The pumping set after repair shall be lowered as per the manufacture specification. NOTES : 1. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 2. Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 50, The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However cleaning of pipes if any required shall be measured & paid separately. 3. Expendable stores like cotton waste/cleaning materials lubricants , gland packing metal filling, machinaing and transportation to and fro from site to work shop are deemed to be included in rate quoted. 5. Labour elemetns is included in unit rates.

Repairs to submersible pumpset coupled with motor of capacity 35 to 60 HP 3 Phase, 415 volts onvolving the following operations and rates are included for the following functions and replacement of UNSV parts. (a) Opening of the defective Pump from motor at site, cleaning the covers and parts as applicable in presence of Engineer-in-Charge to ascertain the quantam of defects and repairs involved. (b) Transporting the defective Pump to contractors workshop for repairs as decided by Engr-In-Charge and carrying out the needful repairs. (c) Assembling the Pump with motor after repair. (d) Spray painting the repaired Pump externally with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint of shade as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (e) Transporting the repaired Pump to site, Assembling the Pump with motor and carrying out necessary test in presence of Engineer-in-Charge to establish the functionability of the repaired Pump upto the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (f) Replacement of unserviceable part of pump like Thrust Bearing, bearing cover sleeve, intermediate shaft, stud ring, neck ring, stainless steel key/sleeve for immpeller shaft, shaft coupler, body bush thrust pad & repair/ Replacement of impeller etc of Pump. Note: - (i) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (ii) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation to & fro of pumps/ motors to workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at workshop. (iii) The rate quoted for the item shall include re-metaling of Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to match with Gun Metal Bush/Neck-ring. (iv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include also replacement of small/ minor parts i.e. washers, keys for coupling, cable packing ring etc.

Repairs/rewinding to submersible motor of Cap 35 to 60 HP,3 Phase, 415 volts 50 Hz AC dismanteled from submersible pump set complete as per existing gauge/size/turns super enemalled copper winding wire to achieve its full efficiencycomplete, all as specified and directed.

Supply only 35 Sqmm, 3 Core, flat submersible Cable, PVC insulated, PVC sheathed with multi-stranded copper conductors, conforming to IS : 694- 1990 of 1100 Volt grade,dismantled/fixedunder Sch ‘A’ item No. 1 above complete, all as specified and directed.

Supply only straight through joint complete with jointing materials suitable for three core stranded copper conductor cable PVC insulated and sheathed flat submersible cable 1100 Volt grade of size 35 Sqmm complete, all as specified and directed.

Supply only MS bolts, nuts, washers, of various sizes complete, all as specified and directed. Note : Weight shall be considered from relevant IS or as actual at site which ever is less.

Supply only rubber gasket joints for 100 mm bore in flanged end MS/ cast iron pipes and fittings complete with and including minimum 3 mm thick rubber/fibre gasket and necessary nuts/bolts/washers complete, all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting & taking out the existing defective Oil immersed star delta starter of any description, any capacity and in any position, 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 Hz suitable for AC supply submersible pump set upto 80 HP (Make : Jyoti) and strip opening of Star delta starter, taking out unserviceable/defective wiring & parts, cleaning and servicing complete including replacement of unserviceable parts and copper wiring with new one of existing size, reassembling, fixing in position, making connections and testing complete, all as specified and directed. Notes :- (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced/repaired is deemed to be included in these item (ii) Transformer oil shall be drained out and collected in contractors own containers and reused after heating and filtration through filtration plant to achieve the dielectric strength/insulation value upto 40 KV and filling shall be included in the rate quoted by the contractor for above items. (iii) Fresh transformer oil required for top up shall be measured as “supply only” but its heating and filling shall be included in the rate quoted by the contractor for above items.

Supply and fix Fully Automatic Star Delta starters in sheet steel enclosure type MN/ML ( motor rating AC 3, 415 V 50 Hz, 3 Ph for Submersible Pump set up to 75 HP /55 KW , relay Mx Range 45 to 75 HP , MN 65 FASD omplete, all as specified and directed. Make L&T cat No SS94022

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth block for support of pipe including form work weathering slightly chamfered angle and throating with and including necessary form work and finished concrete surface even & smooth without using extra cement omplete, all as specified and directed.
