Cutting in earth work in all kind of soil containing spade work, jumper work, blasting work including decomposed soft and hard rock etc. complete in all respect as per the direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge in all leads and lifts.
Excavation in foundation and trenches up to all depths and in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, situated soil including bailing or pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock, chiseling /wedging of soft / hard rock where blasting is prohibited, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting, planking, timbering and dewatering wherever required. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in two layers (two inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. Providing antivibration .pads under the pumps and motors of suitalbe size for the above pumping machinery as per IS 6337-1971
Providing double flanged CI Sluice valve PN 1.0 of Leader/ Bhel/ Kirlosker/ Gld / Kartar Make and equal to dia of scution pipe and capable of with standing the nominal seat pressure IS 780-1984 with upto date ammendments (suitlabe dia)
Providing double flanged cast steel Sluice valve ASA 300 of Leader/ Bhell/ Kirlosker/ Gld / Kartar Make and equal to dia of scution pipe and capable of with standing the nominal seat pressure IS 780-1984 with upto date ammendments (suitlabe dia)
Providing double flanged swing type cast steel reflux valve ASA 300 of Leader/ Bhell/ Kirlosker/ Gld / Kartar Make and having bypas arrangement of 1 step higher then delivery line of pump and capacble with standing normal seat pressure IS 780-1984 with upto date ammendments (suitlabe dia)
Supply of 100 mm circular dia pressure gauge of suitable range of Fiebig/Bourden/ Precision/PREGA with all accessories such as stop cock, copper tubing etc.conformfing to BIS: 3624-1987 or latest with upto date ammendments.
Providing discharge meter of standard make to be fixed on the rising main in pump house as per the directions of the Engineer in charge as per IS:2373:1981 with upto date amendments.
Installation of all the items apparing at serial No. 125 to 146 as per the systematic drawing.
Providing and fixing double flanged MS/GI piping work (Layout to be approved by the Engineer in charge) for suction and delivery pipes suitable to pump(s) offered and common header as per the R/Main respectively complete with all specials such as bends, tees, reducers. Increasers with companions flanges matching with the relevant specifications of the accessories including rubber/asbestos gasket of minimum 3mm thckness as per IS:2712:1979 and required number of nuts and bolts as per Is:1364:1983, The Pipes fittings and joints shall be as per relevant IS code & to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated under item No.12. The size of the various components to be as under:
Suction pipe : One dia higher then the suction of pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1 to 1.5M/second in the suction pipe
Delivery pipe: One dia higher then the delivery of the pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1.5 to 2M/second in the delivery pipe
Common header:- One dia higher then delivery of pump = 65 mm dia and will extend upto 5 meters from the outer wall of the pump house in the direction to be jointed ( suitalbe dia)
Providing and laying copper PVC insulated armoured power cable (One cable carrying all the three phases) of suitable size and capacity to motors and all other electircal equipments as per IS:1554(P-I) 1988 or latest with upto date amendments of Siemens/GLOSTER /IEC/ICC/EICO/NATIONAL/GRANDLAY make including all other accessories such as thinbles, flexible pipes,solders,nuts and bolts cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor.
Motor side (From switch to starter and starter to motor)
Supply side (From Meter of HPSEB to bus bar and switch)
Providing and fixing double loop earth with copper plate 600 mm x 600 x 3 mm thick electrode complete with material such thimbles nuts and charcoal and common salt, 25 mm x 5 mm copper strips as per IS:3043:1987 with upto date amendments for motors and other electrical equipments and digging of pits etc. complete in all respect.(For both phases ).
