Taking down copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets etc. removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately) and making good disturbed surface of walls, floors, etc. Note: Old ceilling fan will be deposited to E/M stores
Material and labour for MODULAR point wiring with PVC insulated and unsheathed electric cable 1100 volts grade single core FRLSH having multi stranded copper conductor of 1.5 sq mm nominal cross sectional area drawn in new conduit either concealed or over the surface of wall / ceiling/ floor with all fitting and fixing accessories and 1.5 sq mm PVC insulated unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable as continuous earth conductor, connected to earth dolly by providing suitable lugs with & including modular inner and outer frame plate matching with surrounding with modular sunken steel boxes zinc oxide plated of suitable size for mounting modular switches, sockets,regulator etc complete for the following. Note: (i) The quoted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive for making good the disturbed surface in cement mortar 1:4 including finishing the surface to match with the existing surface. (ii) Point wiring & earth wire shall be connected to each & every sunken box. (iii) All screws, fasteners, bolts, nuts & washer shall be cadmium plated & the cost of which is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rates.

Supply and fixing of hot dip Galvanised CABLOFIL (300 MM width) wire mesh cable trays, manufactured with a longitudinal 'T- welded' safety edge.Trays shall be constructed with 50 X 100 mm mesh configuration. S&F MS Work as in MS plates, MS Angles, MS Channels , hooks, nut bolt ,holdfasts,wind tie etc similar small articles including fabricationand welding work complete all as specified and directed.
Designing ,Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of VRF outdoor units equipped with highly efficient scroll compressors, each outdoor units should have 100% inverter compressor in each outddor unit with special heat exchanger, compressor capacity control in 990 steps in as small as 0.1 Hz increment, auto check function for connection error, auto address setting and in built double stage oil separation to ensure minimum oil entrachment and proper lubrication. The condensing unit should be capable for outside ambient 52 deg Celcius, Minimum COP 3.4 at 100% load and minimum COP 3.9 at 75% load including the following: (i) Outdoor unit consisting of heat pump of minimum 96 HP at 100% capacity delivery of 410 C ambient temp conditions without deration. There should be two circuits of (24HP+24HP-CKT1) + (24HP+24HP-CKT2) within one outdoor unit. Hence there will be four circuits for overall system. (ii) Suitable size of Y Joints reqd at site as per OEM design (iii) Suitable size of MS structure with fabrication work as per OEM design (iv) R410A Refrigerant gas topping reqd at site (v) The panel should be fixed with the help of suitable size angle iron/ frame with support, required civil works, PCC foundation etc. The cost of same is deemed to be included in this item only. If the roof / roof treatment is punctured during execution of work, the contractor will repair if at no extra cost.
Note : (i) The design and layout of AC plant should be vetted by NIT/IIT/OEM as per layout plan of Dining Hall of VB Mess before commencement of work and same to be approved by Accepting Officer. (ii) The desired conditions should be obtained in Dining Hall: (a) Temperature : 24 + 2 deg Celcius (b) Relative Humidity (RH) :Suitable for Human Body (c) Dust Filteration Level upto 5 Micron 97% efficency filter at Suction. (d) The total area of Dining Hall is 25000 sq feet and the layout of same has been attached for ref. (e) Technical Electric Load : 6 KW (f) Lighting Load : 15 KW (g) fresh air change per hour : 01 Air change per Hour (h) Occupancy : 1300 Persons (i) Hours of Operation : 8 Hours (j) Winter heating required. (k) Type of AC plant : VRF Ductable type (l) Location of Ducts : Above False Ceiling.
(iii) The defect liability period for above plant will be 2 years from Completion of phase-II testing of work. (iv) The items which are necessary for functioning of plant but not catered in BOQ are deemed to be included in above item, hence the contractor should quote the rate after considering these things. (v) Any damage to expensive items brought at site due to this work will be repaired by Contractor without any extra cost. (vi) The 5% amount of whole Contract will be reserved for phase-I test and 5% amount of whole contract will be reserved for phase -II test and the same will be released on satisfactory completion of the phase -I and Phase -II test respectively. (vii) The Provisional completion will be issued after phase-I test and final completion will be issued after phase-II test. (viii) The testing of the VRF system will be done in three parts. (a) Hot weather test shall be conducted in Apr/May and performance is to be recorded (b) Monsoon test shall be conducted in Jul/Aug and performance is to be recorded (c) Winter test shall be conducted in Dec/Jan and performance is to be recorded.
Designing ,Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of VRF of Indoor units equipped with pre-filter, fan section with low noise fan, multispeed motor, coil section with DX coil, outer cabinet, drain pan, insulation, pipe connections e including the following: (i) VRF Indoor ceiling unit of 20 TR capacities with AHU KIT. (ii) Corded remote for individual IDU (iii) Suitable size of Y Joints reqd at site as per OEM design (iv) Fire retardant nonporous double layer flexible connection between each unit and duct.
Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Central Controller for 10 Nos IDU VRF Indoor units.
Supply installation testing and commissioning of the insulated refrigerant copper piping for all the units with the refnets as per following size. The insulation shall be 13/19mm thick nitrile rubber throughout the running length of the refrigerant piping. The pipe shall be well supported at walls or ceiling. The refrigerant and copper piping should be covered with suitable size PVC pipe to give aesthetic looks. The cost of PVC pipe for protection of copper tubing and insulation is deemed to be, included in this item.

S & F MCCB 125 Amps, 4 pole ICS=100% ICU at 415 volts with rupturing capacity 16 KA with thermal-magnetic release and adjustable overload setting . The MCCB shall have a Mechanical life = 40000 operations & Electrical life = 8000 operations of following capacity complete all as directed.
S & F MCB TPN 16 Amps complying to IS/IEC 60898, 240 volts 'B' Curve 16 KA with energy limiting class 3. The mcb shall have the unique property of di-electric strength, arc resistance, insulation, flame retardancy and temperature resistance, including connection with suitable size copper lugs, The MCB shall give visible flag indication when MCB trips on Short Circuit Fault. The MCB shall have safety shutter to avoid any wrong insertion of cable. The MCB shall have the termination capacity of 35 Sq mm. The MCB shall have electrical life 20,000 operations up to 32A and 12,000 operation up to 63A including connection with suitable size copper lugs complete all as directed.

Providing & fixing false ceiling at all heights with GRG (Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum) false ceiling tiles of Size 595x595 mm of approved texture, design and patterns having moisture content less than 2%, humidity resistance of 99%, NRC0.50 to 0.75 as per IS 8225:1987, Noncombustible as per BS 476 (part 4)-1970 and light reflectance of 85% (minimum) to be laid in true horizontal level suspended on inter-locking metal T-Grid of hot dipped galvanized iron section of 0.33mm thick (galvanized @ 120 grams per sqm including both sides) comprising of main-T runners of size 15x32 mm of length 3000 mm, cross - T of size 15x32 mm of length 1200 mm and secondary intermediate cross-T of size 15x32 mm of length 600mm to form grid module of size 600 x 600 mm, suspended from ceiling using galvanized mild steel items (galvanizing @ 80 grams per sqm) i.e. 50 mm long, 8 mm outer diameter M-6 dash fasteners, 6 mm dia fully threaded hanger rod up to 1000 mm length and L-shape level adjuster of size 85x25x2 mm. Galvanized iron perimeter wall angle of size 24x24x0.40 mm of length 3000 mm to be fixed on periphery wall / partition with the help of plastic rawl plugs at 450 mm center to center and 40 mm long dry wall wood screws. The work shall be carried out as per specifications, drawing and as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. With semi perforated 12 mm thick micro tegular edged GRG false ceiling tiles. Note :- Any damage to expensive items brought at site due to this work will be repaired by Contractor without any extra cost.
Taking down existing old serviceable glass panes of any description , any thickness and size from woodenor metal frame including hacking out old putty or removing beads etc, including making good in breakages in taking out and handiling , complete all as directed.
S&F, 5.5 to 6mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality type & glazing with wooden beads in squares exc 0.5 Sqm in each pan, all complete as directed. Note :- (i) The glass should have U factor less than 0.3. (ii) Wooden beads shall be measured and paid seperately.
M&L 2nd class hard wood fillets decorative, bullnosed, spalyed, chamfered or rounded on one edge or face sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm, fixed with nails complete all as specified and directed.
M&L, for preparation of new or previously untreated wooden surfaces not exc. 10 cm width or girth including rubbing with sand paper of different sizes, one filler coat liquid transparent including under coating and one or more finishing coat of varnishing up to desired finishing as directed by GE
