Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
All kinds of soil
Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.
Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation /banking excavated or stacked materials.
All kinds of soil.
Extra rates for quantities of works; executed
Extra rates for earth work in or under water and/or liquid mud incl. pumping out water as required.
Supplying and filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.
Extra for planking, strutting and packing materials for cavities (in close timbering) if required to be left permanently in position. (Face area of timber permanently left to be measured).
Close timbering over areas including strutting, shoring and packing cavities (wherever required) etc. complete. (Measurements to be taken of the face area timbered) :
Depth exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding 3 m.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :
1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).
Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :
1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :
1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

Welding by gas or electric plant including transportation of plant at site etc. complete.
Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

12 mm cement plaster of mix :
1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)
15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix :

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :
Two or more coats on new work.
Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

In cement mortar
Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-harge.
With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand).
Providing and laying 75 mm thick compacted bed of dry brick aggregate of 40 mm thick nominal size including spreading, well ramming, consolidating and grouting with jamuna sand, including finishing smooth etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Labour charges for fixing of anchor bolts 32mm dia (or any other dia as per design requirement of department) 8 nos/ 9 nos. in each of column pedestal of tower along with supply of template, totalling 32 nos/ 36 nos. anchor bolts for each tower foundation all complete as per the direction of E-in-C.
Labour for hoisting, fixing and erection of 40 M high Ground Base tower as per departmental drawing and design with all its necessary components viz. climbing ladder, platform with railing and fixing with bolts nuts and spring washer, necessary welding etc. wherever required complete in all respect as per the direction of E-in-C. [The rate shall include the cost of all operations involved in hoisting and errection of tower including hire and labour charges of all tools, plants and mechinaries, insurance premium of labour etc. and nothing shall be payable extra]. (Labour for hoisting, fixing and erection of 40 meter height Ground based Structrual Steel Tower as per approved Generic requirements no: GR TWR-04/01 Dec 2000 alongwith amendment dt 29.06.2005) (weight about 9.7 MT)
Painting two or more coats with hi-gloss synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and colour (white and orange) over one coat of ETCH primer (BISON WASH PRIMER OR APPROVED EQUVALENT) and second coat of BISON HB ZINC phosphate primer (or Zinc chromate primer) or approved equivalent primer of approved brand as per recommendation of international Civil Aviation rules in 40 M galvanised structural steel tower. 40 M galvanised structural steel tower i/c all fixtures like ladder, cable tray, antenna fixtures etc. (Rate inclusive of materials, labours as well as insurance involved in painting of New tower members)
40 Mtr GBT(New Installation)
Supplying at site galvanised steel tower materials, [MISSING / UNAVAILABLE MEMBERS ONLY] with average mass of zinc coating of 610 gm/Sqm (approximately 85 micron), members may be consisting of either angles, flats, base plates, gusset plates, ladders, connecting plates, climbing ladders, bolts & nuts, washers fabricated as specially instructed and as per approved drawings and specifications for erection of equivelent tower. The galvanising shall be as per IS: 4759. The structural steel for tower shall confirm to IS: 2062 and fabrication shall be as per IS: 4757. The structural steel section shall be procured from the main producers like SAIL, RINL, TISCO. Segregation and stacking of tower material at stores or site required for erection of 40 mtrs ground based NBLW tower in orderly manner as per bill of materials / erection drawings no. GR TWR - 04/ 01 Dec 2000 from a lot of materials of more than one tower complete as directed by the Engineer in charge
Drilling, punching and enlarging holes of required diameter of M.S. structural members (any thickness) by machine drilling and grinding including mending good and fishing complete as per the site requirement and direction of E-in-C.
Transportation of tower materials by mechanical means from departmental store HABRA T.E. Complex to the work site Chakdah T.E. including all charges i.e., labours for sorting of materials, loading, unloading, stacking and carriage cost involvement.
Extra labour for hoisting and fixing 6 Nos. antena mount at 35m level of 40m NBLW tower with bolt, nuts etc. complete in all respect as directed by E-I-C.
