S&F factory made Box type steel window, double shutter, glazed and wire gauzed with side hung shutters including box type hinges, steel handles fabricated type for each leaf duly welded, mild steel barrel tower bolts 150mm size (02 Nos for each leaf) duly welded, complete with glazing bars dovetailed or welded including MS fillets, including provision of mild steel guard bars complete all as specified & directed. Notes: - (i) Windows shall be fabricated as per drawing No. TD-219 Sh 1/3 to 3/3 and these drgs may be referred from GE office or from the office of CWE (AF) Ambala. (ii) Glazing, Wire cloth & MS guard bars shall be measured and paid separately . (iii) Painting to window shall be measured and paid separately however one shop coat primer included in quoted rates. (iv) Double shutter meant for providing glazed shutter as well as wire gauged shutter on outside & inside of the frame respectively. Both the shutters shall be measured as one unit. (v)Steel window shall comply with IS 1038-1983 &. Rolled steel sections for fabrication shall conform to IS 7452-1990

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality, & description) from wooden/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads etc. complete all as specified & directed.

M&L cleaning of dust, removal of all loose existing bituminious material manually and with heat torch gun to get smooth plain finished surface including removing of vegetation/plantation with no loose material on surface. Repairing all joints and cracks with Highly elastic Bituminous cold applied putty of Tarplasic having penetration after setting upto 8mm and including laying of plain cement concrete(PCC) 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in padding on roof to maintain the required slope & finished the surfaces even and fair complete all as specified & directed.

M&L rough cast plaster including 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:3 on brick work or concrete surface all as specified in SSR Part -1 clause 14.22 complete all as specified & directed. Note : Rough cast plaster finish shall be as follow :- After applying the under coat in cement mortar 1:3 and while it is still in plastic state the rough cast mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine gravel aggreagte (Which is generally of size between 6mm to 12mm depanding on the texture required mixed with coarse sand and cement in the ratio of 1:1:1 shall be applied and finished even. The mix of cement and sand shall be made slightly wetter than normal for rendering to ensure the larger aggregate are throughly covered.

M&L water proofing treatment to roof slab complete all as specified here-in-below & directed by Engineer-in-charge:- (i) Levelling of surface to give proper slope will be done as per site requirements with Bituminous Mortar & Cold Emulsion cum waterproofing Liquid of water based bituminous emulsion. (ii) Creating SSD condition on surface with water. Prime the surface with acrylic modified bitumen with potable water in the ratio of 1:1 and apply @400gm per Sqm (As per Surface Conditions). (iii) Apply first coat of acrylic modified bitumen having elongation 200% conforming to ASTM-C-412 & having crack bridging of 8mm confirming to ASTM-C-836 with tensile strength after 7 days 0.50mm conforming to ASTM-C-412 with no diluation of water on primed surface while the surface is still tacky with consumption of 700gm per Sqm. (iv) Laying Geotex of 45 GSM/ Fibre mesh simultaneously and paste it properly with overlap of 50mm. Allow the first coat to dry for 10 hrs to 12 hrs. (v) Apply second coat on cured first coat with consumption @ 700gm per Sqm in opposite direction of first coat by Brush or Roller. Allow it to dry for 10-12 hrs. (vi) Apply third coat with consumption @ 700gm per Sqm. Ensure final curing time of 36 hrs before allowing/ carrying out any further work.

Item No. 30 continued...../- (vii) Conduct ponding test for minimum 7 day applying two coats of single component, UV Resistant Elastomeric Exterior Acrylic Weather resistant water proof coating having elongation of 300% after curing of 14 days confirming to ASTM D- 6083--for UV Protection of Bituminous Elastomeric Acrylic Emulsified Liquid Membrane to give long life and prevent its deterioration from sunlight. Notes:- (i) The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorised applicators only duly approved by GE in writing. (ii) The amount of security deposit as a guarantee shall be calculated @ 5% on the total amount of Water proofing treatment work. The contractor's quoted rates for these aspect shall deemed to be included.

M&L machine cut Kota stone slab 18mm to 20 mm thick as in vertical surfaces such as skirting / dado/ steps(riser)/pillar etc., laid over and including 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4, and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast articles complete all as specified & directed.

M&L Brick work with sub class B, burnt clay bricks of old size, designation 75, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 mtr mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified & directed.

Description all as per BOQ item No 33 here-in-above but except bricks. Note: Old bricks retrieved from BOQ item 32 here-in-before shall be used after cleaning and washing.

M&L Brick work with sub class B, burnt clay bricks of old size, designation 75, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick wall, built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified & directed.

M&L 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6, type C-2, using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in plinth protection finished even and smooth without using extra cement with & including 10mm wide, 30mm deep joints at the rate of 3.00 mtr centre to centre and at every turning & filling the joints with bitumen & sand mixture complete all as specified & directed. Notes :- (i) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for providing the concrete in alternate bays not exceeding 3 Mtrs length. (ii) 30 mm deep joints between the bays shall be provided which shall be filled with mastic filling with hot bitumen 85/25 grade and 1:2 mix volume.

M&L for cutting/chipping the spalling concrete surfaces of chajjas/roof protection etc. and trimming & cleaning the surface to recieve gunting and providing pressure gunnting average 20mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 and finishing the concrete surface with 5mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:3 even & smooth with using extra cement including welding the reinforcement to existing reinforcement complete all as specified and dirceted Note: (i) Reinforcement shall be measured seperately. (ii) Necessary formwork required for the work shall deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iii) Necessary scaffolding as required at site shall be provided by contrator without any extra cost and shall remove the same on completion of the work.

M&L for carrying out water proofing treatment of sunken floor as specified here-in-below and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge:- (i) The concrete/ wall surface shall be cleaned throughly of all laitance , loose particles, dust , grease etc. any friable unsound area shall be chipped, cleaned and there after pre-weted to a saturated surface dried conditions. (ii) In case of potholes , superficial cracks found , the same shall be repaired with polymer modified mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement and 3 coarse sand )using Dr fixit pidicrete URP 301/Sika latex or equivalent in Asian paints/ Fosroc as admixture @ 10% of cement content and the same shall be applied on vertical area after removing of plaster upto 2 feet height (iii) On the prepared surface, apply a primer coat of Sika latex / Dr. fixit pidicrete URP 301 or equivalent in Asian paints/ Fosroc modified cement slurry 1:4:8 (1 admixture : 4 water : 8 cement), after prewetting the substrate @ 2 kg/sqm . (iv) The surface thus prepared shall dampen upto saturation and apply two coats of sika top seal 107 or equivalent in Dr fixit piddilite/Asian paints/Fosroc, acrylic modified water proofing coating on the entire area @1.5 kg/sqm (each coat) Second coat shall be applied after 6-8 hrs after the first coat and in the direction right angle to the previous coat . The water proofing should be taken to a vertical height of minimum 600 mm above . (v) Apply open woven glass fiber mesh of sika Fab 1 or equivalent in Dr fixit piddilite/Asian paints/Fosroc, 150 mm wide strip over the PCC benching (Gola) whilst the first coat is wet and then apply scond coat . cure the hydrosent application ( Minimum 6-8 hrs drying) for a minimum 3 to 5 days . (vi) Apply a protection layer of 10 mm thick plaster made of 1:4 cement sand mortar admixed with integral water proofing compound Sika plastocrete plus/ Dr fixit piddilite LW plus or equivalent in Asian paints/ Fosroc @ 200 ml/bag of cement , applied over the water proofing coating . Note: For Security deposit & guarantee, refer Particular specifications.

S&F rolled mild steel work in tubular trusses including vertical member, rafter and purlin including special shaped washer etc using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 graded St- 240 including cutting to dead length, notching, drilling riveting and/or welding & connecting with nuts & bolts complete all as specified & directed.

S&F framed brackets of angles or Tees with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and counter sunk for screw, including bending and welding angles, as necessary, gusset plates, riveting etc not exceeding 10 Kg each brackets, conforming Fe- 290. Gde -E-165 (brackets over 10 Kg each to be measured under structural steel) complete all as specified & directed.

S&F Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exceeding 5cm but not exceeding 10 cm long complete all as specified & directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating AZ-150 GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified & directed.

Dismanting wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets etc. complete all as specified & directed.

M&L 12 mm thick Gypsum board false ceiling of size 610mm x 610mm fixed with anodised aluminium snap grid frame work for false ceiling, size of grid 605mm x 605mm including hanger 6mm dia (upto 1200mm length ) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of GI flat 40mm x 3mm size 60mm long complete all as specified & directed.

S&F 5mm thick PVC sheet fillet of width 35mm for wall paneling inclusive of fixing on to wall as per specifications and drawing given in SSR part-IIcomplete all as specified & directed.

S&F solid PVC wall Lining consisting of 5mm thick plain colour PVC sheet inclusive of solvent cement and fixing at site on PVC frame as per specifications and drawing given in SSR part-II complete all as specified & directed.

For Credit Schedule refer tender documents. The amount of credit schedule shall be deducted in total quoted amount of BOQ to arrive contract sum.
