SCHEDULE A - Track Works for regular Maintenance

Greasing of ERC duly taking out ERC from the MCI inserts without damaging the sleepers cleaning the ER clips, eyes of the MCI inserts, removing any debris or rusted materials from the both sides of MCI inserts using wire brush and emery paper, removing the liners without damaging the rail/sleepers removing all scale, rust and deposits at liner seat preparing the surface of ERC for application of contractor's Grease Graphite (IS-408-1981 Grease No.O) on central leg of the ERC on rail on liner seat area & underneath of liner and smearing the eyes of the MCI inserts with the same grease and driving back the greased ERC back including fixing of liner to correct gauge and alignment with all contractors labour, tools and plants and consumables etc complete as directed by the Engineer in charge at site. Grease shall be supplied to KMRL and will be issued for day-to-day works.

Lubrication of Plate/Rail screws of Points and crossings in Muttom Depot, including removal of plate/rail screw carefully without breaking the screw, cleaning with wire brush etc both screws and dowel hole applying contractor's Grease Grafite (IS-408-1981 Grease No.O), refixing the screw with spring washer and sealing the top and sides of screw grease graphite to prevent ingress of moisture and corrosion with contractors labour, tools all lead and lift complete. Grease shall be supplied to KMRL and will be issued for day-to-day works.

Through packing of PSC sleeper in ballasted track as per the procedure mentioned in IRPWM by using Contractors labour tools & plants,Equipments etc.including lifting of the track wherever required to the original or suitable level as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Through packing of 1 in 7 Standard Guage turnout in ballasted track as per the procedure mentioned in IRPWM by using contractors labour tools & plants,equipments etc.including lifting of the track wherever required to the original or suitable level as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Through packing of Scissor X over 1 in 7 for 4500m in ballasted track centres for SG track as per the procedure mentioned in IRPWM by using contractors labour tools & plants,equipments etc.including lifting of the track wherever required to the original or suitable level as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Uprooting weeds on or from depot track surroundings as well as ballast slopes after loosening surface by raking

Removing the bushes along the formation, side drains and in cutting side slopes and cropping vegetation at ground level mechanically using grass cutting machine and clearing the dead vegetation generated away from the toe without affecting function of side drains or catch water drains etc. complete. Note : The area for operating this item should be recorded before carrying out and certified area for which the work has completed only will be paid under this item.

Conveying and laying of ballast in plain Tracks and turnouts under traffic condition with PTW and power Block duly transporting the ballast by road lorry and dumping in the nearest loadable points and loading into dip lorry and leading and dumping at required places as directed by the engineer in charge.Ballast to be takn from stack will be supplied free of cost by KMRL within 1 KM lead from the site of work.

Cleaning the Viaduct between Aluva to SN Junction including Ramp D Exit & D Entry lines, duly cleaning the viaduct bottom plan area & walkway between hand rails all around the track plinth duly sweeping and disposing the sweepings including chipping off left over concrete if any to a neat and tidy manner including all labour, material, fuel, tools, plants and machinery, lead lift etc. All sweepings are to be brought down and disposed by the contractors own methodology for which no seperate paymnet will be eligible. No seperate payment will be given for cleaning stations & I-Girder areas and turnout portions.

Lubrication of gauge face of rails/ check rails on sharp curves, cross overs, points & crossings and turn-in curves with contractor'sGrease Graphite (IS-408-1981 Grease No.O) of approved quality. Grease shall be supplied to KMRL and will be issued for day-to-day works.

Anti-corrosive painting of AT and FB welds on track on viaduct and mainline for 60 kgrail sections with high build epoxy paint of reputed manufacturer, conforming to RDSO's Specification no. M&C /PCN-111/88 on welded area upto 15cm on either side excluding rail top, gauge face and underside of rail foot as per the specifications in Railway's AT Weld Manual including, NOTE:[ Before painting old paint shall be removed thoroughly by scrapping. All loose rusted and dirt shall be removed thoroughly by wire brushing. Grease and oil shall be removed by use of appropriate solvent confirming to IS Specification 1745-1976. Use of detergent followed by water washing should also be done to ensure removal of oil and grease apart from the greasing compound.]. Track fastenings shall be removed wherever required and re-tightened after painting. Work to be done during night power block hours in mainline.

Supply of anti-corrosive paint, bituminous black paint confirming to IS:9862-1981 to Muttom Depot Pway Store/Site at viaduct/ any other site of KMRL with all lead and lift, etc, complete and as directed by the engineer in charge.

Application of Anti -Corrosive paint, Bituminous black paint two coats conforming to IS : 9862 - 1981 of UIC 60 Kg rail, except rail top, gauge face and underside, duly removing SKL 12/24, liner, Tbolts, check rail, and its fittings, fishplates, etc. in viaduct and fixing them after painting including surface preparation and cleaning etc. with contractors tools and plants, power, water wherever required, consumables etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in charge. Paint will be supplied at Muttom P-way store, then contractor has to transport the same to the site.

Supply of Manlifter (17m) with operator for maintenance activities.

Overhauling / through attention of BLT, which inter alia comprises the correction of the geometrical parameters of track- such as gauge, alignment, cross-level, superelevation and unevenness, etc., desirably to be within the limit of the target value, or within the stipulated action value etc as stated in chapter 13 (Track Tolerance) of the track manual of KMRL, as the case, maybe and depending upon the condition of the rail and track components etc., and ensuring full complementary and providing correctly of the track fastening system, for the required tightness, torque, toe load/ clamping force etc., complete and as per the instruction of engineer in charge. Components for track fastenings for replacement shall be supplied by KMRL from P-way store at Muttom depot. Complete material and all tools and plants except Robel bolt tightening machine with fuel shall be provided by the contractor. Any defects/damages caused shall be at the risk and cost of the contractor and the repair/rectification charges will be deducted from the contractor RA bills/PG etc. Work comprises of complete lead,lift, labors,tools and plants etc and to be carried out under permitted PTW by authorised KMRL representative only.Work shall be carried out in viaduct mainly during night power block time of approximately 4 hours.

SCHEDULE B - Track Works Incidental to Maintenance Items

Removing of defective rail/welds including rail replacement in ALUVA-SN Junction section duly engaging a welding team. The work shall be carried out as per KMRL track maintenance manual, ATweld manual, USFD manual, method statement submitted by the contractor, and as directed by the engineer-in-charge. The rate is inclusive of all lead, lift, weld, rail transportation from to Muttom Yard and associated works, etc. complete in all respect. Welding portions will be supplied by KMRL.

De-stressing of 60kg 880/1080 grade LWR/CWR track by duly removing the fastening , lifting and placing the rails on rollers and (as per the procedure laid down in the Indian Railway LWR Manual ) lowering the rails fittings either released or new fastenings correctly to maintain the uniform gauge alignment with or without rail tensor and contractors consumable stores, labours, etc at the location as identified by the Engineer-in-charge

Removing the existing 60 kg 880/1080 grade broken/unserviceable Points and Crossing PSC sleepers with all fittings and fastenings and keeping away at site of work without causing any infringment to the running lines and replacing with 60 kg 60kg 880/1080 grade CMS Points and Crossings(1 in 7 or 1 in 9) PSC sleepers with all fittings and fixing the same with elastic fastenings with special liner to suit the 60kg sleeper to 60 kg 880/1080 grade rails, gauging, levelling, aligning, kutcha packing and boxing of ballast to profile as directed by the Engineer in charge. (All labour, materials, tools and plants are to be supplied by the tenderer/ contractor only at his own cost)

PSC sleeper renewal by using contractors tools and plants including leading and trucking in and out

Repairing crack in the concrete plinth, with suitable high-strength epoxy resin conbextra EP/10 Fosroc make or equivalent material with the approval of the Engineer in charge and any corrective measures to avoid water stagnation on the track plinth if necessary using suitable similar material as stated above as per the requirement and as directed by the engineer in charge.

SCHEDULE C - Manpower Supply

Providing BLACKSMITH with KHALASI on demand to attend failures or systematic maintainence of track. The blacksmith team should be equiped with own necessary equipments like gas cutting equipments, grinding tools, spanners, jim crow, crow bars etc. as directed by Engineer in charge of the work

Arranging semi-skilled labourers for daily routine maintainence as directed with necessary tools and equipments arranged by the contractor.

Arranging painter for painting and lettering sleepers, curve markings, turnout marking, plinth marking, boundary pillars/marks, viaduct pier numbering etc. as as directed by Engineer in charge of the work
