Repairs or Recarpeting of Bituminous roads of security perimeter inside factory, Car parking areas of main gate and foundry gates and road infront of OFIL etc. inside factory area at OFMK.

Amount

Excavation : Rough exaction not exc. 1.5 m deep and getting ot in Hard / dense soils. Complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dresing : surface dressing of road berms not exc. 15 cm deep in soft / loose soils. Complete all as specified and directed.

Site clearence. Complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying : Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc. 400 sqm and the thickness Exc 50 mm and n.exc 100 mm deep

Soling (or sub base) with broker boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber 100 mm thick. Complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. Complete all as specified and directed.

Macadam : Premix bituminous, macadam with paving bitumen any penetration laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less). Complete all as specified and directed.

Pot holes : Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc 30 mm. Complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. Complete all as specified and directed.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen at 5 kg per 10 sq metre. Complete as specified and directed.

Bituminous premixed carpet, 2.5 cm consolidated thickness, with 0.34 cu.m. of stone chippings mixed with 18.25 kg of binder (paving bitumen)per 10 sq.m and mixed in mechanical hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver and rolled using power roller 8-10 T capacity and compacted to required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surface. Complete as specified and directed.

Demolition : Brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar for the portions order to be dismantled , including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles. Complete all as specified and directed at site.

PCC : Plain Cement Concrete (1:4:8) Type D-2 using 40 mm graded aggregate in foundations, floors, filling and mass concrete, Complete all as specified and directed .

Stone Masonry : Walling of Squared Rubble regular coursed Stone masonry, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in with 1:6 cement mortar, Complete in all respects as specified and directed.

Moorum filling: Moorum filling in floors or pavings laid in layers not exe. 15cm thick , spread leveled and rammed including watering all as specified and directed.

M & L for flush pointing to squared rubble masonry coursed or uncoursed, in Cement mortar 1.4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth, string, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60cm in height, copings, kneelers etc. Complete in all respects as specified and directed.
