Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) /manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m :

Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80 mm dia. but not exceeding 300 mm dia

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering and finishing the surface to match with existing cement concrete road etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 3.5 in foundation and plinth in:

Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete.

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm).

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50metres lead.

With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand)

Dismantling 15 to 40 mm dia G.I. pipe with fittings including stacking of dismantled pipes (within 50 metres lead) as per direction of Engineer in-Charge.

Constructing soak pit 1.20x1.20x1.20 m filled with brickbats including S.W. drain pipe 100 mm diameter and 1.20 m long complete as per standard design.

Providing and fixing temporary wooden scaffolding made from bamboo and ballies up to any floor level for repairing work on building face. Maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration and removing it after completion of repairing work etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for the payment purpose. Scaffolding material shall be property of contractor after removal.

Refixing available door including frames in existing opening including repair by cutting, painting etc. including replacement of hinges ,hold fast with screws, etc. as required, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Making opening for door of size @ 1.20mx2.14 meter by demolishing brick work and RCC chajja if required manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

In cement mortar

Cleaning of Septic tank including removing debris and flowing clean water etc. to ensure proper flow through lines to the satisfaction of Engineer in charge. The rate includes the cost of all tools, plants and labour involved in above operations including disposal of debris.

Septic tank up to 2.50 m deep.

Repairs to M.S. roofsheet shed of any size by removing and refixing existing GI/MS pipe purlins including Sheet roofing and refix the same including providing CC 124 vatta at the juction of brickwork and roof msheet .( The item includes labour charges and material T&P required to for removing and refixing and materilas like MS angle,GI pipe, GI sheet for support of required size, welding charges etc required to complete the job.)

Removing and refixing of Cement Concrete paver blocks in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc as directed by engineer incharge

Drilling hole @75mm dia with core cutter in RCC wall of up to 150 mm thick of for passing of Drinking water line and making good the walls as directed by engineer-in charge.

Deduction for taking over of unserviceable materials obtained from dismantling/ demolishing as is where is basis. Note : Materials shall be taken over by the contractor at his own cost and will allow to deduct at the quoted rate from the bill of payment.
