Material and labour for laying and compacting 300 mm thick in two layers (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade V as specifed Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag, or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials shall be mechanically mixed, spread and levelled on the sub grade by using motor grader of adaquate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for acheiving required compaction density of at least 98% of the Maximum Dry Density including consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013.
Material and labour for laying and compacting 200 mm thick in two layers (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM), grading as per Table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifictaions for Road and Bridge works, 2013.
Material and labour for providing and laying Dry Lean Concrete (DLC) 150 mm thick of aggregate gradation as per Table 1 of SP 49:2014 having 7 day average compressive strength not less than 7 MPa, minimum cement content not less than 140 Kg/Cum, DLC mixed in Batching Plant, transported to site and laid by electronic sensor paver including spreading and compacting using high amplitude tamping bars of paver (initial compaction) further by double drum smooth wheeled vibratory rollers with 80-100 KN static weight to achieve minimum dry density not less than 98% of maximum Dry Density, necessary finishing etc. complete all as specified and tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge work 2013.
Material and labour for 10 mm thick sand cushion with clean river sand duly clear of residual, organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over DLC layer complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/sqm, over tack coat/ sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips and at transverse joints as minimum 300 mm complete all as specified and directed. Note: No additional amount shall be paid for overlap.
Material and labour for Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) of minimum 28 days field flexural strength of 45 Kg/Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15- 2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand or crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 400kg/ cum of cement with non-circular, virgin synthetic fibre @ 0.25% of weight of ordinary portland cement of 12-18 mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240°C and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacturer (rate of application shall be as per manufacturer recommendations). PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip-form sensor paver of minimum 7.50 m width, including curing and tining by texturing cum curing machine, steel formwork finishing, belting, brooming etc. complete all as specified and directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10.1.14 and Table 9 of IRC:15-2017.
Material and labour for forming 25 mm width expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC, early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges, joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris, the joint then filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS- 5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for forming dummy/ contraction joint with an initial saw cut of 3 mm soon after the concrete has set, upto a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thickness of the slab, widening the first saw cut to 6 mm and 24 mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges, joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris, application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant, placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8 mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS- 5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for preparing new concrete surfaces and painting lines, dashes (continous/ un-interupted), arrows, letters, etc. exceeding 10cm wide with two coats of water based road marking paint, white/ golden yellow/ red colour over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for MS round steel bars 32 mm dia and over as in mooring rings, cut to length, bent to shape required and fixed on floor complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade (design mix) (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundations, including rafts, footings (for mooring rings) including cutting the PQC surface and base courses upto 1.5 m and matching the top PQC surface including surface texturing complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for preparing new or previously untreated steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.
Supply only approved moorum/ red bajri complete from outside MD land for forming embankments complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) Moorum/ red bajri soil shall have minimum dry density of 1.80 g/cc (ii) Payment shall be made on basis of measurement of regular stacks with a reduction of 10% on measured volume towards bulkage before incorporation in the work. (iii) Contractor shall obtain moorum/ red bajri from outside MD land (from any distance) and no payment whatsoever on royalty or extra lead etc. will be entertained.
Forming embankments (using approved moorum/ red bajri) including raising (for lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30cm thick, watering, ramming/ rolling with compactor of capacity 10 to 15 tonne and finishing to required size, shape, etc. not exceeding 1.5 metre high from base (compaction shall be done until the density achieved is 98% of MPD) complete all as specified and directed. Note: The subgrade after complete prepration shall achieve minimum saturated K value of 5kg/cm2/cm at site. The approved moorum/ earth for forming embakment shall be measured & paid for under BOQ item No 25 above.
Material and labour for repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen VG 10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick), well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand) and again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) for depth of potholes not exceeding 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for preparing existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam 75 mm thick (consolidated thickness) or less with 4% binder content by weight of total mix (paving bitumen of grade VG-30), laid and rolled with 8-10 tonne vibrator power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) Cost of testing charges, material and transportation etc. for job mix formula shall be inclusive in the unit rate and no extra payment shall be admissible on this account. (ii) MIx shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver.
Material and labour for Bituminous Premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and mechanical paver as approved by GE, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 Tonne vibrator power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) Job mix formula for SDAC shall be obtained from the institutes specified in particular specifications. (ii) MIx shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver. (iii) In case as per actual design mix , the binder content by weight of total mix is less than 5.5%, price adjustment shall be made as per average rate of all the purchase vouchers for bitumen pertaining to the work under this contract. If the binder content as per design mix is more than 5.5%, no price adjustment shall be made for the same.
Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows, brackets etc. and the like not exceeding 10 cm wide on roads/ pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer instruction complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fix cat eye, solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and fix solar cat eye, aluminium alloy (100% water proofing design) of size 125mm x125mm x 25mm (shank 65 mm) of high efficiency mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 Watt one Ni-ed rechargable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10000 to 18000 mcd as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and fix metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for geo textile wrapping around filter medium including embedded drain pipe conforming to type-I as per clause 702 of MoRTH specifications complete all as specified and as directed. The maximum apparent opening size of geo textile shall be 0.22 mm and the overlapping and stitching arrangement shall be in accordance with clause 702.3.1 of MoRTH specifications.
Material and labour for geo textile wrap around the perforated pipe conforming to type-I as per clause 702 of MoRTH specifications complete all as specified and as directed. The maximum apparent opening size of geo textile shall be 0.43 mm and minimum side and end laps shall be 100 mm and 450 mm respectively. Stitching arrangement shall be in accordance with clause 702.3.1 of MoRTH specifications.
FENCING
Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 cum, getting out in any type of soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm and removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fix hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embedding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

STANDBY POWER SUPPLY
Supply, installation, testing and commisioning of Silent type Diesel Engine Generating Set 415 V 320 KVA (CPCB-IV + compliant), 3 Phase .8 power factor, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM self excited self regulated, brushless AC generator installed including control panel, suitable for ambient condition at Baroda and as per latest CPCB norms of Govt of India and conforming to condition under ISO 3046, IS 10002, BS 5514/5000 with capacity of 10% overloading for one hour in every twelve hour duration and including the following accessories: (A) Alternator: Synchronous alternator rated at 320 KVA suitable for continous operation at 1500 RPM generating 415 V at 0.8 pf (lag) suitable for 50 Hz, three phase 4 wire system. The alternator shall be brushless, single bearing type, self excited and self regulated with an AVR. The alternator shall be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally conform to IS 4722: 2001. The salient features of the alternator are: (a) +/- 1% voltage regulation (max) in static conditions (b) IP 23 protections with class H insulation (c) Permanent lubricating bearing (d) Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation
(B) DIESEL ENGINE: Adequate capacity of diesel engine water cooled to drive independantly above alternatorand after considering de-rating as per site conditions after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexible coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direch injection, cold starting 1500 RPM as per relevant IS/BS complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation. Salient features of accesories shall be as under: (i) Fly wheel with housing (ii) Cooling system: Moulded radiator with fan and belts (iii) Cooling water pump: Centrifugal type belt driven (iv) Exhaust system: Exhaust system complete with exhaust piping of suitable dia with MS pipe medium grade. The base frame will be primer coated and painted. The base frame is rugged in construction and designed for mounting diesel engine and alternator close coupled, with cross members mounted on AVM. The base frame shall have provision for mounting of acoustic enclosure and control panel on it. (C) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Acoustic enclosure shall be powder coated weatherproof outdoor type and fabricated out of 14/16 SWG CRCA MS sheet. The silent canopy shall be of nut, bolt type construction. Critical processes of punching is done on CNC machines to maintain dimensional accuracy of holes within 0.1 mm. Powder coating is done after seven- tank surface preparation process of sheet metal. Canopy panel and doors shall have inside lining of fire-retardant foam as acoustic material and rock wool for hot zone. Adequate hinged doors shall be provided to canopy, one door shall have glass window for control panel visibility. (i) Manufactured by OEM suitable for 100 KVA DG Set (ii) It should be as per latest rules, CPCB norms and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and pollution control board (iii) The generating set battery should be inside the enclosure (iv) Fuel tank: Daily service fuel tank of 8 hours of continous operation, fabricated from 14 SWG sheet metal complete with drain, inlet and outlet connection and fuel gauge (v) Construction details/ specifications are as follows: (a) Outer body: CRCA sheet of 14/16 SWG (b) Doors: CRCA sheet of 14/16 SWG (c) Sound insulation: 100 mm thick rock wool (minimum density 64 kg/cum)/ fire resistance foam/ puff as per OEM/ as per standard manufacturing to achieve desired decibel level
(vi) The acoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembles integral unit (vii) The DG set should be provided with external emergency stop push button (viii) The enclosure should be suitably internally illuminated by CFL/FTL lamp fittings (ix) The noise level should be 75 dB at 1m free field conditions (x) The acosutic enclosure parts shall be powder coated after pre treatment process. the base frame shall be painted with epoxy based black shade Notes: (a) The complete DG set shall be procured from authorised OEM of the manufacturer of engine. A certificate in this connection shall be submitted to GE (b) Circulation system to achieve desired inside temperature of acoustic enclosure if required shall be provided as per OEM recommendation
(E) AMF PANEL: Supply, installation, testing and commisioning factory made outdoor type AMF panel board suitable for 320 KVA DG set conforming to IS 5039, cubical type base mounting with IP 54 protection made out of 3.15 mm CRCA sheet, 415 V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz supply mounted on and including MS angle section 40 x 40 x 5 mm frame with front and back openable double door with provision of locking arrangement, dust and vermin proof, gasket, TPN busbar shall be insulated with colour coated heat shrinkable sleeves and shall be mountedon proper insulator, gland, welding hinges of dust proof, overall powder aoated complete including taking down old AMF panel, controller with battery charger 12V 15 A and connecting up incoming and outgoing cables complete with glands and lugs and chamber painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including mounting the chamber with suitable size of bolts/ nuts including taking down existing unservicable chamber of any description complete all as specified and directed and consisting of the following equipments : (a) 4 Pole 600 Amp power contactor, AC 3 duty, coil voltage 230 VAC; Make: L&T MCX with 2 No. + 2 NC - 02 Nos. (b) MCCB, 630 Amp 4 Pole 35 KA 50 Hz - 03 Nos. (c) AMF relay microprocessor based COM AP (AMF 25) - 01 No. (d) Minilec VMR-D2 Phase Failure Relays - 01 (e) Panel should be internally prewired with suitable size of copper conductor PVC insulated cable with colour coding- 01 job
SOIL INVESTIGATION
Material and labour for conducting sub surface boring for ascertaining soil profile at the depth of every 30cm by using soil augar or similar device and recording bore log as per IS 1892 complete all as specified and directed. The depth of boring shall be maximum 6 metre or at which further boring is restricted or refusal occurs due to encountering very stiff soil, ground or rock etc. and collecting the samples (undisturbed/ disturbed) according to IS 2720 and submitted the following test result in 04 sets with recommendation complete for maximum 6 metre depth. Note: Scope of work includes conducting laboratory tests on representative soil and samples as per specification as per bore hole including the determination of the following: (a) Field density and moisture content of soil (b) Specific gravity of soil (c) Saturated and dry density test (d) Free soil index and swelling profile (e) Grain size analysis of soil (f) Atterberg limits of soil (g) Box shear test (h) Unconfined compressive strength test of soil (j) Soil classification (k) Depth of water table
Material and labour for carrying out Modulus of subgrade reaction test (K- value) in field as per IS: 9214: 1979 at depth 1000 mm or as directed from GL including mobilisation equipments and shifting of entire arrangement from one test location to another test location and setting as required/ directed by Engnr-in-Charge and submission of reports with site plan showing test locations (four sets) complete all as specified and directed.
