Removal of existing roof treatment i.e APP membrane, and open up RCC roof slab including picking, sweeping cleaning with wire brush and washing down with water to remove dust, dirt to get surface free of laitance , scales, oil or any other loose material complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof for double storey . The contractor shall make arrangement of scoffolding,safety & security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof . The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items .

M&L 25 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone agg) mixed with SBR Latex liquid polymer as water proofing compound ((mixed as per manufacture instructions & will be paid under relivent item of Sch A)) over and incl one coat of cement slurry admixed with acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer as to be used for bonding of new concrete/ mortar to old surface as per manufacturer direction and finishing the surface even and smooth (without using extra cement) as in roof padding / sunken floor to receive water proof treatment complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof for double storey . The contractor shall make arrangement of scoffolding,safety & security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof . The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items .

M&L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :- (a) Applying a priming coat of bituminious primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sqm, till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3.6Kg/ Sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) centre core, laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75 mm and end overlap of 100 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer (c) Apply two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP membrance Note : 1. The work of water proofing treatment shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer only and 10 year company back warranty to be submitted by contractor 2. The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof slab for double storeyed. The contractor shall make arrangement of scaffolding, safety and security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof . The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items.)

M&L for Concrete angle-fillets provided with a radiaus of 75mm to 100 mm at junctions between roofs/chhajja/ sunken floor and vertical faces of walls (parapet, pillar for tank staging and other similar situations) to ease up about corners.with cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 (Using 12.5mm stone aggregate) mixed with SBR Latex liquid polymer (mixed as per manufacture instructions & will be paid under relivent item of Sch A) including using form work (straight or curved) as required complete as per direction by Engr-in-Charge. (Note :- The work is required to be carried out upto double storeyed. The contractor shall make arrangement of scaffolding, safety and security of workers. The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items.)

Providing and application two coat of acrylic polymer modified cementitious flexible waterproof coating on horizontal and vertical surface of sunken floor after base preparation of cleaning, brushing and removal of flaky materials. The coatings shall be applied at intervals and as per the manufacturer’s specifications and approved by Engineer in Charge . Note : Ponding test after water proofing coating willl be done for 48 Hrs .

M&L for 15 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:4 on floor and wall surface of sunken portion with polymer modified repair mortar mixed with SBR Latex liquid polymer (mixed as per manufacture instructions & will be paid under relivent item of Sch A).Complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of external wall all as prescribed by manufacture of paint and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (walmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- 1. The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of emulsion paint. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii). All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv). after carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v). The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE / AGE (I) (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by removing existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers, then washing the surface with Bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (wallmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour & T&P required for preparation of surface are demand to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor.
