REPAIR TO WATER PROOFING ROOF TREATMENT TO CERTAIN BUILDINGS AT TECHNICAL AREA AT BRD AF STN CHANDIGARH UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Dismantling brick tiles or terracing tiles, single layer on roof and removal of unserviceable brick tiles / brick bats of rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 3Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing bitumen felt including cement mortar bedding padding and cleaning the surface and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 3Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of mud in roof, any thickness, including plastering and leaping (whether full thickness removed or nly a part thereof) and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 3Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick masonry work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, or in any position (after staging) etc. and removal of rubbish outside MOD land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 3Km and stacking of useful bricks/brickbats for credit, complete all as specified and directed

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (12.5 mm graded stone agg ) as in padding on roof laid in 50mm thick average required thickness to maintain desired slope, finished even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.50 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in roof kerb, mud stops, benching , including use and waste necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:3) using WPC @ 0.200ML per 50Kg bag of cement on surfaces of roof and parapet, finished even & fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying a coat of bitumen primer @ 0.3Kg /sqm conforming to IS : 3384 and laying 3mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane reinforced with non woven polyster matt having softening point not less than 150 degree centigrade, having tensile strength 650 N/Sqcm in longitudinal & 400 N/Sqcm in transverse direction by torch method with min 100 mm side lap and 150 mm end lap followed by application of a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.2 kg per sqm and blinded with clean dry sand @ 0.5Kg/sqm over the APP membrane on roof, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: The water proofing treatment shall be carried out by the Authorised applicator of the Manufacturers.

All as per item No. 09 above but on vertical surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for 40mm thick brick tiles laid over and including 15mm thick cement screed bed in CM (1:6) using grey cement and grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement laid on concrete roof, complete all specified and directed.

All as per item No. 11 above but except tiles, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old serviceable brick tiles retrieved against srl item No 1 here-in-before shall be reused after proper cleaning & washing etc.

Material and Labour for applying two coats of solar reflective bituminious aluminium paint over APP membrane @ 0.20Kg/Sqm for two coats, complete all specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick Rendering on brick ,concrete or dubbed surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finishing even and smooth without using extra cement at any height including necessary scaffolding, ladder & formork including taking down and removing the debris outside the defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 3Km, complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for preparing new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint at any height including necessary scaffolding, ladder & formork etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brickwork with using retrieved subclass 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), except bricks, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old serviceable bricks retrieved from demolition against srl item No 4 here-in-before shall be reused after proper cleaning & washing etc.

Supply and fixing/hoisting in repair, rotational moulded polyethylene (HDPE) water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) white colour, triple layer with screwable lid, 500 litre capacity, hoisted and fixed in position including inlet, outlet and drain pipe with plug, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing/hoisting in repair, rotational moulded polyethylene (HDPE) water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top), white colour, triple layer with screwable lid, 1000 litre capacity, hoisted and fixed in position including inlet, outlet and drain pipe with plug, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing/hoisting in repair, rotational moulded polyethylene (HDPE) water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top), white colour, triple layer with screwable lid, 2000 litre capacity, hoisted and fixed in position including inlet, outlet and drain pipe with plug, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecting of PVC tank of capacity exc 250 Ltrs but n.exc 500 Ltrs for cleaning including setting aside temporarily and refixing later in same position for water supply to enable water proofing treatment of roof slab beneath the tank in following laid down process all as specified and directed :- a) Dewatering & removing all settled silt, scale & dust from inside of tanks using coconut brush manually and applying bleaching powder and allowed to rest for 1 hour. b) Cleaning & rinsing the tank using fresh water to wash out complete and allowed to dry for 30 mins. c) Writing letters of 7 cm height using synthetic enamel paint (white colour) to mention date of cleaning incl rubbing out old letters written over the tank d) Refixing the tank with fittings as required in same position or raised/lower height after cleaning or water proofing treatment (as may necessary) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair, galvanized steel water tubes, 20mm bore, medium grade, with all standard fittings such as bends, elbows, tees etc, concealed/surface, fixed to walls and ceiling or laid in floors, complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only galvanized steel water tubes, 20mm bore, medium grade, with all standard fittings such as bends, elbows, tees etc, concealed/surface, fixed to walls and ceiling or laid in floors retrieved from item No. 22 above, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair, ball valves high pressure of PTMT (Minimum weight 142gms) with epoxy coated Aluminium rod & high-density plastic ball, screwed for iron pipe 15mm dia bore, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair, stop valves/angle stop valves, cast copper alloy, screwed down high pressure, fancy type, chromium plated, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions 20mm bore dia, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of Oil Bond distemper at any height including necessary scaffolding & ladder etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair rough cast wire glass 6.4mm thick and glazing with siliconized acrylic sealant/beads (iron/aluminium) (any type as per site requirement) in square exceeding 0.5Sqm but n.exc 0.75Sqm in each pain upto height 15m including necessary scaffolding etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for filling siliconized sealant around steel/wooden frame of around rough cast wire glass 6.4mm thick to cover all side gaps of glass panels with suitable layer (approx 20mm width in both side) by silicon gun as per manufacturer instruction to stop the water leakage from that portion including removing the existing treatment around the glass panels upto height 15m including necessary scaffolding etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 12mm thick glass reinforced gypsum (GRG) ceiling tiles of size 595 x 595mm of approved design fixed with powder coated (powder coating on web bottom only) GI grid consisting of main Tee section of size (25mm x 30mm), cross Tee section of size (15mm x 23mm) and powder coated GI wall angle of size (20mm x 20mm) suitable for mounting tiles of 595 x 595mm with 4mm dia GI wire suspender, GI adjustable rod of 4mm dia with butterfly level clips, spaced at 1200mm c/c along main T, bottom exposed width of 15mm of all T-section shall be centre black prepainted with polyester paint and having a load bearing capacity of 12Kg/Sqm including taking down old false ceiling, complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs. 65675.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
