AUXILIARY ENGINE ( 2, 3, and 5) MAKE: MAN B&W SSANGYONG 6L 28/32H, 1600 BHP HYUNDAI, 1999A, 390V ***All Spares Ship Supply
All 03 Aux Engines opened up and dismantled completely for decarburization of all units for survey and after completion box up back and shown satisfactory trials. The following jobs are to be attended.
Cylinder heads to remove, all mountings to dismantle to overhaul and to fit back, all cyl heads to be pressure tested upto 6 bars. Each Engine having 6 cylinders heads
18 nos. pistons to withdraw, clean and to calibrate, All piston rings to clean and calibrate.
All liners to clean and to calibrate.
Bottom end bearings clearances to take before and after fitment.
All main bearings to open up for inspection. Clearances to check and record.
Crank case oil to remove and to dispose off, crank case to clean and fresh oil to take. ** Oil Ship Supply
All 03 Engines safety cut outs and trips to try out and show to surveyors.
Air cooler to be remove from place and chemical cleaning to be carried out same to be fitted back with new joints.and show to surveyors. Aux Engines (1,2,3,4,and 5)
LO cooler to be remove from place and chemical cleaning to be carried out same to be fitted back with new joints after Pressure testing.and show to surveyors. Aux Engines (1,2,3,4,and 5)
(a) Turbocharger of AE 2 & 4 to be Removal and Refitment
(b) Packing and Transporation of Tubrochargers
L.O. Priming pump motor back cover to renew as per sample. Aux Engines (2,4,and 5) ** All material contractor supply
All A.E's overspeed micro switches to be checked and to be renewed. ***Micro Switches Ship Supply
Outer aux. engine FO heater. Adjacent pipeline and insulation to be removed,same to be pressure tested and leaking tube to be plugged. Same to be witnessed by MMD surveyor and same to be fitted back with new joint, pipeline and insulation. **All spares ship supply. ** All material, joints and insulation contractor supply
Leaking tube to be plugged. Plugs contractor supply
Inner aux. engine FO heater. Adjacent pipeline and insulation to be removed,same to be pressure tested and leaking tube to be plugged. Same to be fitted back with new joint, pipeline and insulation. **All spares ship supply. ** All material, joints and insulation contractor supply
