M&L for Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags/ mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer paving bitumen with viscosity grade VG-10 at 5 kg per 10 sqm on existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of bitumen with viscosity grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 10 tonnes power roller to required complete all as specified and directed. Note :(i) Design Mix for SDAC shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate. (ii) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20 B 2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (Specifications). (iii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 60/- per kg of bitumen (less consumed) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate. (ii) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.B.2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (Specifications). M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

S&F cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 75 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges, weathering throughting including necessary formwork finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
