Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including removing cable protection covers/ bricks & stacking serviceable bricks for reuse and disposal of unserviceable covers within 50 m all as directed. Note : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and brick protection. (ii) The excavation work may be carried out in short lengths for locating fault in under ground cables at different locations

M&L for Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of 25 cm thick after the cables etc. are laid, jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Removal of surplus excavated soils not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Material & labour for sand filling with clean dry find sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches/ducts for cable protection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for old size sub class `B` bricks, kiln burnt, as in cable protection laid flat with axis of brick perpendicular to the axis of the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Fixing / laying only old bricks of any description as obtained from dismantling of the cable complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ corroded GI tubing of any description and in any position complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Restringing of HT/LT/street light over head lines of existing over head line of ACSR conductor /GI wire after disconnecting from the insulators & jumpers to the required tension & sag & binding up & connecting to insulators & jumpers properly testing complete, including chopping off tree branches (coming in the way line) all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for cleaning and preparation of all existing steel surfaces of pole structure of straight steel tubular poles 9/11 mtrs long for painting including mild steel cross arms, clamps and anti clibing device,protection pipe etc and applying one coat of aluminium paint all round the exposed steel surfaces of existing steel tubular poles structure of any description and in any position above the height of 1.50 mtr from the plinth of the pole and applying one coat of synthetic enameled paint of different colours in strips of 150mm width upto the height 1.5 mtr from the plinth of poles including writing pole No and other sign works with white paint over black painted base in the pattern and style as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified & directed.Note : Size of black painted base for numbering shall be 100mmx25mm and the size of numbers shall be not exceeding 10cm height.

Taking down old unserviceable MS junction boxes from the pole with disconnectiong all connections, Supplying and fixing in position new Pole box made of thermoplastic Polycarbonate having IP66/IP67 degree of protection (shock proof, dust proof, jet water proof and acid resistive). The gasket should be internally embedded, and made of Polyeutherene. The boxes shall be tested as per IEC 60670-2/ 60670-22. The boxes shall have self threaded holes & provision for mounting din rail. The lid should be hinged type with sealing screw. The screw should be of stainless steel so that there is no corrosion. The boxes should withstand temperature of -40c to +120c. The glow wire test should be conducted at 960 c or 750 c and material should be flame retardant & self extinguishing. UL subject 94, V-0. The boxes should be free from toxic substances like hal ogen and silicon. The boxes should have suitable pre-moulded knock out /or plan wall depending on requirement. Box dimension shall not be less than 130 X 180 X77 MM (LXBXH). Box shall be suitable for 16/25Sqmm cables including one no. MCB SP 230 volts 6 amps,10kA,C Curve and connecting the bus bars to cables with using suitable GI nut, bolts and washers and aluminum lugs etc fixed on pole using 30x5mm FI clamps,nuts,bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Each hinge point shall be measured as one unit. )

Taking down unserviceable indication lamp and supplying, fixing, testing and commissioning indication lamp (LED type) with showing red, yellow and green in colour of 22.5 mm dia monitor on LT panel board suitable for 240 V AC supply all as specified and directed. Disconnecting, dismantling, taking out & removing unserviceable volt meter and Supplying, fixing, testing and commissioning of digital electronic volt meter 0-500 V range suitable for LT 415 Volts panel flush pattern square type 96mmX96mm with adopter complete with button all as specified and directed.
