MRL - 17 Renewal of the road from Thinnakonam - Puthur Road in Km 0/0-3/4 (R-63) Clearing and Grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201. (i) (A)

Earth work Excavation in all soils like HSC Soil with initial lead and lift including all other labour charges asper SS 20 A for 100% compaction by power roller etc., completed

CCollection and supply of U.S. Gravel from approved site including cost and conveyance of all materials to site and stacking to departmental gauge for taking remeasurements including all labour charges for spreading in berms etc., complete in Base course. 0/0-3/4

Providing BT Patch work 25mm using 13.20 metal and 44 Kg of Bitumen per 1 Cum of Metal including cost and conveyance of all materials and all labour charges etc complete 'Km. 0/0 - 1/0

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.2 to 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surface treated with Primer cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading,premixed with bituminous binder @5.4 to 5.6 percent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment,rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT & H speciications clause 507 complete in all respects

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under PMGSY including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRCSP- 20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost For the First Year from the date of completion of work
