Repairs to expansion joint with following specifications : (a) Demolition and removal of masonry (stone / brick) over the expansion joints and necessary chipping with machine, electrical chipper tools and removing debris from site, location as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Open expansion joint by chipping loose portions, surface and straightening the edges of the expansion joint using FOSROC Renderoc-S2 or equivalent make of Pidilite, SIKA, STC, two part structural grade reinstatement mortar or equivalent including preparation of surface complete as per manufacturer's instructions. (c) After strengthening the edges of expansion joint, expansion joint shall be filled with Hydrocel XL or equivalent make of Pidilite, SIKA, STC, @155 mm thick material, and then polyethylene backer rod 30mm dia is to be fixed in expansion joint and the balance gap to be filled with concrete of size 40mm X 20mm with FOSROC Thioflex 600 two part polysulphide sealant or equivalent material. (d) Providing and fixing Expoband a hypalon membrane system which is designed to be bonded over movement joints in structures to prevent the passage of water. The Hypalon membrane is bonded in position using Nitobond PC 40, two part epoxy adhesive or equivalent make of Pidilite, SIKA, STC, complete as per manufacturer's instructions. (e) Providing and applying bituminous water based primer on the prepared surface and when the surface is tacky self adhesive SBS membranes by using FOSROC Proofex GP or equivalent make of Pidilite, SIKA, STC are installed and firmly pasted it on the existing membrane joints laid in dry condition with approximate 80mm overlap of edges complete.

Sealant filling to window/door frame - The work shall include the following :- (a) Cleaning existing treatment like cement mortar and sealant filled between window / door frame and the masonry walls to be completely removed and all the loose adhered particles shall cleaned using air blowers and allowed it to dry. (b) The sealant filling shall be flexible with one part low modulus gun grade elastomeric Polyurethane sealant Nitroseal PU 40 of Fosroc of BASF or Sika of pixilate or approved equivalent to the joints size max of 10 mm width X 10 mm depth. The cured sealant shall have the properties of MAF 25%, UV Resistance, and service temperature range -40 Degree Centigrade to 70 Degree Centigrade, Nitoseal PU 40 confirms to the standard compliance of ISO11600:2002 Type F 25 LM, ASTMC920-95 Type S,Grade NS, Class 25.The rate quoted shall include all material, surface preparation, tools scaffoldings safety equipments labours etc complete as per Manufacturer's specifications.

Water proofing treatment to existing brick masonry with Grouting- The rate shall include the following :- (a) Removal of the plastering completely to expose the brick masonry. Surface shall be thoroughly washed with water and allowed to dry before starting the grouting works. (b) Injection grouting : The grouting area should be identified above skirting level drilling 12 mm dia and fixing of GI packers suing instant setting cement of epoxy mortar like Nitomortar S of Fosroc or BASF or Sika or Pidilte or approved equivalent injection of silicon based / polyurethane based grouting material like Nitrofill WS 60 & UR 63 of Fosroc BASF or Sika or pixilate or approved equivalent with a suitable hand pump carrying pressure of 3 kg / cm2 . Grouting operation should be continuous till there is refusal of material or material observed at adjacent holes (c) Providing and laying cement plaster of cement mortar 1:4 admixed with integral waterproofing compound like Conplast WL of Fosroc or BASF or Sika or Pidilite approved equivalent to minimum thickness of 15 mm and application of emulsion paint of approved shade as per the direction of Engineer in charge Providing and applying with two coats of water dispersed Polyurethane coating like Nitocote PUW 100 of Fosroc or BASF or Sika or Pidilite or approved equipment at a dry film thickness of 100 microns of approved shade using brush or roller or spray over the prepared plastered surface as per Manufacturer's instruction.

Extra over rendering or plastering for work in isolated widths not forming part of general plastering such as in bands, sunk panels, cornices, skirtings, drip moulds and similar work n exc 15cm in width or girth including cutting to edges, all mi-tress and stopped ends, etc complete as specified.
