SCHEDULE 'A' CONSULTANCY SERVICES

Architectural Drawing/ Design, Structural Design/ Drawing and Estimation: (a) Architectural Design and preparation of Architectural Drawings:- Consultancy services for Architectural works drawings suitable for issue of Lump Sump tender as per the approved line plan, Adm approval, sanctioned AEs and Board proceeding and in adherence to the provision of National building code, Scales of Accn and other standard Architectural practices/norms as per the terms and conditions given in Annxure II encl and the list of bldgs enclosed as Appx A (Plinth Area for bldgs 750 Sqmtr (Approx). (b) Structual Design and preparation of Structural Drawings:- Consultancy services for structural design and preparation & submission of structural drawings using software’s such as STAAD PRO latest version, STAAD foundation and RCDC advance version using 3D space Model etc as per terms and conditions and the scope of work in Annexure-III for the bldgs as listed in Appendix 'A'. (c) Estimation of Quantities, Preparation of BOQ abstract, yard sticks and Market analaysis. Preparation and submission of Detailed Estimate, yard stick, Bills of quantities including reinforcement bars quantity of each size of bar duly priced at par MES SSR Part-II 2020 rates and market rates, market analysis alongwith supporting documents, List of all materials and quantity “of Lumpsum work as per terms and conditions. The scope of work as per terms and condition given in Annexure IV for the bldgs as listed in Appendix 'A'.

GREEN BUILDING:- The building shall be designed in accordance with GRIHA/ LEED specification to ensure least environmental impact and optimum utilization of Electricity as well as to stay in consonance with Green Building Concept.

Notes: (a) List is bldgs is as per Appx ‘A’. (b) Terms and condition in general are enumerated at Annexure I. (c) Terms and Conditions for Architectural Drawings are enumerated at Annexure II (d) Terms and conditions for structural design and preparation of structural drawings are enumerated at Annexure III. (e) Terms and conditions the BOQ estimation of quantities at Annexure IV. (f) Certificate of vetting Agency at Appx ‘B’. (g) Rate quoted above is inclusive to extend prompt assistance in clarifying and doubts on design/ drawings and shall provide extra details or supplementary drawings, if required, at no extra cost to the department during tendering and execution of the work. Modification if any required on account of the site conditions/ users requirements shall be attended to by the consultant during execution of the project without any extra cost. (h) Architectural drawings and Structural drawings once submitted will be the property of CE Bathinda Zone and the consultant will have no claim or rights thereafter on the same. The HQ reserves the right to adopt the drawings in any other Govt work in future. (j) The documents submitted by the consultants shall be scrutinized by the Client (E6, E2 Design & E8 Section) or by officer nominated by this HQ and any observations raised and clarification sought by the Client shall be replied/ clarified by the consultant to the entire satisfaction of the client within three days of communication from the client. (k) Rate quoted above is inclusive of the cost of attend the office of the Chief Engineer Bathinda Zone, is so called for personal discussion and clarification without any extra cost of the client. (l) Liability of Consultant. (i) Faulty Design:- In case of any defect/demage detected in these structures during their design life and the same attributed to faulty design/drawings, consultant will be held responsible. (ii) Delay:- Consultant will be held accountable of delays in providing the final design and drgs. Consultant will also be held responsible for delays due to inaccurate design and subsequent redesign etc. Compensation at the rate of Rs. 10000.00 per week of delay subject to max 10% of quoted amount will be levied on the consultant.
