Schedule'A' Part-I: E&M works

Taking down carefully to existing copper/Aluminium point wiring (light, socket or power) complete including fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, sockets, boxes, light fitting etc and removing from site and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors etc complete all as specified.

Point wiring of the following type with PVC insulated and unsheathed multistranded FRLSH copper conductor single core 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area) cable using approved colour code as per IS drawing in and incl PVC casing and capping (ISI Mark) with all accessories including providing sunk cast pressed steel terminal boxes off size made out of 1.5mm thick MS sheet duly painted with black bitumen paint over a coat of red oxide primer and providing 3 mm thick plastic laminated Bakelite sheet(HYLEM BRAND) top cover along with copper earth wire PVC insulated & unsheathed multistranded(FRLSH) copper conductor cable of size 1.5sqmm as continuous earth wire connected to common earth and earth dolly complete all as specified. Make of wire : Finolex/Havells/Polycab.

M & L for surface sub main wiring with two single core PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 volt grade multi stranded FRLS Copper conductor cable of size 4.0 sqmm (Nominal area) drawn through in and including PVC casing caping/PVC conduit size with all fittings and accessories alongwith one single core green colour PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 volt grade multi stranded FRLS Copper conductor cable of size 2.5 sqmm as earth lead and connected to earth dolly and making good to disturbed surfaces all as specified and directed. Make of wire : Finolex/Havells/Polycab/Rallison/Plaza. NOTE: (a)Two run of cable with one run of earth wire and one run of casing capping/conduit will be measured as one length.

Supply and laying under ground XLPE insulated PVC sheathed (Heavy duty) armoured 1100 volts grade aluminium conductor cable of size 35 Sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches as per IS 7089 (Part I) including connection cable glands, aluminium lugs ect including taking down unserviceable cable complete all as specified and as directed Make : Havells/Finolex/Rallison/RPG/RR Kabel Note : Earth work, brick protcetion and send cushioning and GI pipe wiil be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Supply and fixing GI steel tubing light grade for protection of cable on poles, under road crossing etc of 40mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in treanches not exceeding 1.50m vide and n.exc 1.5 in depth for foundation of poles cable etc not exc 10sqm on plan getting out in soft/loose soil including taking out brick protection etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, of soil including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50m and desposited/spreaded where directed at a level n. exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for sand filling around the cable with approved quality coarse sand for sand cushioning of under ground cable including spreading and punning down to desired thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying brunt brick sub class 'B' of size 23x11.5x7.5 cm locally available best quality laid in trenches for protections of under ground cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth electrode plate of size 600x600x6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0mm dia by means of suitable GI nuts/bolts and brazed properly up to main board including earth pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, precast RCC cover in 1:2:4 reinforced with expanded metal, with suitable handle, excavation and earth work in any type of soil and including medium grade GI watering pipe 25mm bore with funnel wire mesh and medium grade GI wire protection pipe 25mm bore up to main board complete as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule Part-I 2009, connected to earthing testing point including taking out existing unsv earthing complete all as specified and testing on completion complete ass as specified and directed .Note - The units rate includes the cost of excavation & earth work in any type of soil, charcoal & salt in alternate layers, 25mm GI pipe (light grade) for watering 25mm GI protection pipe (light grade) funnel wire mesh PCC chamber in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 cast iron frame and 40mm thick RCC cover for pit etc & no extra payment will be made.
