Amount

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Demolishing existing 24 m RTT at Changankulangara old building without damage to mast members and near by existing structure and stacking in the ground as per direction of the Engineer in Charge

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Centring and shuttering including strutting, propping etc and removal of form for:-

Columns, pillars, piers, Abutments, posts and struts.

Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars

6mm cement plaster of mix:-

1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand)

Supplying galvanised iron bolts and nuts with plain and spring washers etc..

Labour charges for erection of 24 m RTT in roof top of buildings up to 5 floors including lifting upto required levels with necessary tools and plants required , necessary welding of bocken memers if any, straightening of bends all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (MS angles ties shall be paid separetly).

Welding by gas or electric plant includng transportationof plant at site etc. complete.

Providing and applying paint of approved specification over the four legged light weight communication tower ( NB ) indicated in item above.(One coat of Etch Primer(MRF, Asian paint or equivalent)should be applied first followed by one coat of zinc chromate primer. Over that two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint Orange/ White of approved brand and manufacture should be applied.) On steel work

Providing G.I bus bar of 25 X 5 mm connected to the tinned bottom portion of lightning conductor and to the ring earth/plate earth with 2 Nos of 10 mm dia GI nuts & bolts [with lead sheath in between] at each connection. The bus bar shall be drawn through heat shrink sleeve and shall be shrunk properly. The bus bar shall be clamped to the tower/ building walls at uniform interval of 1.5 Mt.. using proper GI clamps and ceramic insulators such that the bus bar shall be well insulated from the tower building walls all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(All joints should be covered by Shalimar or equivalent water proof tape and made air tight)

Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade

New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm. over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm).

Providing GI strips of size 25 X 5 mm one end connected to the tower leg with GI bolt and nuts (with lead sheath in between) including providing and connecting the legs at the bottom of tower and the other end shall be connected to the GI plate earth/ring earth with GI bots and nuts [with lead sheath in between] including clamping the down lead flat to walls/stems without any sharp bends using necessary clamps and screws as directed by the Engineer -in-charge.(All joints should be covered by Shalimar or equivalent water proof tape and made air tight)

Providing GI plate earth including excavation of pit size 1500 x 1500 x 3000mm depth in all kinds of soils and placing 4 Nos. of GI plates of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick vertically at diagonally opposite ends in the excavated pit and inter connectign the plates with 25 x 3 mm GI strips with 2.Nos. of GI bolts and nuts of 10 mm dia at each connection and placing galvanised iron pipe of 50 mm dia and 3000 mm length at the centre of the GI plate grid and interconnect the pipe at minimum two sides with the connecting flat of the GI plates with GI flat of size 25 x 3 mm with GI bolts and nuts and fill the pit upto a depth of 650 mm with charcoal of 20 mm nominal size and the remaining portion of pit shall be filled with loose soil free from stones and wet the entire soil with water and cover the pit with 600 x 600 x 50 mm thick precast reinforced concrete slab having 75 mm dia hole at the centre to pass the G.I. pipe and construct a chamber of internal size not less than 280 x 280 x 250 mm with half brick wall including fixing C.I. manhole cover of size 300 x 300 mm of weight not less than 7.20 kg. (cover & frame) and plastering the chamber on all sides with cement mortar 1:4 of 12 mm thick ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand) and including disposal of surplus excavated earth if any within a distance of 5 km lead as directed by the Engineer -in-charge.

Dismantling extsting DG roofing with damaging the members and re errecting the same as directed by the Engineer in charge (The rate includes the cost newly used components ets as per ste requirement.Nothing extra will be paid separately)
