Labour for taking out old soling edging including removing debris (a) Single brick flat soaling

Box cutting in road embankment in all kinds of soil and spreading the soil uniformely over the flanks and considerating and dressing the subgrade to correct camber and grade.

Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or hard metalied surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both sides of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly complete as per direction. (b)Brick-on-end edging (250 mm) depth.

Labour for laying soiling with departmental bricks including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with brick joints properly filled in and packed with local sand or powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar materials below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used

d)Soling with one brick on edge laid in Herrig Bone Bond pattern over a layer of flat brick(thickness 75 mm. plus 125 mm)

Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction.

Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackle (ii) 12.5 cm av. Diameter

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bullah wailing pieces and cross pieces etc. complete with cost of all materials and carriage to site.a) Width of thinner end above 10 cm.and less than 15 cm

Supplying, dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins above 5 cm. diameter and upto 7.5 cm. diameter. (Dia. to be measured at mid length).

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances. (a) Where boats are not necessary.

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bamboo wailing pieces (av. dia. of bamboo not less than 5.0 cm.)

Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition.

Filling empty Cement Bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of filling materials, (Earth or sand) and gunny bags.

Earthwork from borrowpits for making embankments or for repairs to embankment within an initial lead of 30m. And initial lift of 1.50m including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 Cm layers and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of B) Beyond 1.00 Km. and upto 2.00 km

Providing and laying nominal mix Cement concrete (with mix proportion 1:1.5:3) / M-20 grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm of Pakur or other approved variety including Screening and cleaning of aggregates, if necessary, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, compacting by vibrator or other suitable means, cost of curing with water, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. and including placing a Separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick transparent or white in colour laid flat with minimum creases. Before placing the separation membrane, the sub-base shall be swept clean of all the extraneous materials. Wherever overlap of plastic sheets is necessary, the same shall be at least 300 mm and any damaged sheathing shall be replaced at the Contractor's cost. Including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging, shuttering and and reinforcement if any

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction (b) Where staging is not required

Supplying,laying ,fitting &fixing R.C.C spun pipes and collers with cement morter (1:3) including fixing the pipes collers with jute,pitch etc. including the cost and carriage of spun pipes at site excluding the cost of collars. a) Spun pipes-300 dia, NP-2 Grade

Supplying RCC spun pipe collars including loading , carriage , unloading at site. a)Collar-300 dia, NP2 Grade

Fine dressing and making the crest to correct camber and grade by cutting and filling earth where necessary including extra earth

Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro- reflectorised sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm, 2 Nos. firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision)

Printing new letter and figures of any shade with synthetic enamel paint black or any other approved colour to give an even shade as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). ii) English and Roman
