Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm and depth exc 50mm & n.exc 100mm deep including removal from site of work to distance n.exe 50 m complete all as specified & directed.

Preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer VG-10 @ 5.00 kg per 10 Sq metre complete all as specified and directed

M&L for premix bitumen macadam using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with 4% minimum binder content by weight of total mix,laid/rolled and compacted to requiired gradient and camber (Consolidate thickness 75 mm or less) by using 8-12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: (i) Bituminous Macadam will be mix in hot mix plant and spread through Mechanical Paver Machine only. (ii)No price adjustment shall be applicable if the approved quantity of binder as per design mixed is more that specified quantity

Material and labour for Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40mm consolidate thickness with 6.0% binder(Paving bitumen of VG-30 Grade) content by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and mechanical paver ,rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using 8-12 ton capacity mechanical power roller complete all as specified & directed. Note: - (b)No price adjustment shall be applicable if the approved quantity of binder as per design mixed is more that specified quantity. (c) The contractor is advised to assess the realistic quantity of binder for the design mix specified above before quoting. If considered necessary, they may get the design mix done on their own before quoting the Tender. However, the Design Mix done prior to quoting of Tender shall not be considered for incorporation in the work after conclusion of contract and have to be done as specified above.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and application of 2.5 mm thick painting to road surface as in lines, dashes, arrows, letter, zebra cross etc on roads, Pavements etc and like exc 10cm wide with hot thermoplastic road marking paint reflective type conforming to BS 3262 with 20% glass beads (intermixed) spread and laid by automatic mechanical machine engine drive complete all as specified and as directed. M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (Un-reinforced) in ground floor and paving nexc 15cm thick above or below GL complete all as specified and directed

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.

Material and labour for preparation of new concrete ,plastered surfaces over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing made of hollow tubes,channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding,buffing, polishing and making curvature (where ever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.
