Installation of 15KL underground tank at 132KV switchyard of HWP, Talcher

Removal of sand and gravel separately manually from the area of 8.2m X 4.7m and upto a depth of 500mm at 132KV Switchyard. Backfilling of sand and gravel after completion of Tank installation.

Excavation of soil by manually over areas of of 7600mm X 4100mm and upto a depth of 2200mm except the existing area of tank including disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50m disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed.

Disposal of excavated earth by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to nearby dumping ground for lead upto 2 km for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Backfilling of earth including compacting each layer by ramming and watering, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge to achieve/maintain 95% proctor compaction density.

Removal of 15KL MS tank (2.0m ID X 5.0m long) from pit and keeping aside on wooden planks. Arrangement of hydra and lifting tools &tackle are in contractor's scope.

Supply of Hot dip GI Heavy duty J type foundation bolts having threading at one end of size (min.450mm length and 25mm dia) with nuts, washers for tying the brackets welded with tank. Galvinasation of all items conforming to IS 4759.

Providing and laying in position of M15 grade of Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including centering, shuttering, finishing, grouting of foundation bolts and excluding cost of reinforcement - All work up to required level as per foundation drawing enclosed and as diercted by EIC. (Providing of holding down bolts and reinforcement are covered in other item.)

Supply of Steel reinforcement of Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting,bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto required level as per foundation drawing attached and as per direction of EIC.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) at base as per foundation drawing and direction of EIC.

Coating and wrapping work on damged coating part of 15KL underground tank including supply & application of Coal tar tape of make: Supreme/ Pypkote and other compatible coating and wrapping material, in one layer of 2mm on outer surface of tank as per tcechnical specificaions enclosed. Arrangement of hydra and lifting tools &tackle, testing equipments are in contractor's scope.

Safely erection of 15KL MS tank (2.0m ID X 5.0m long) on the foundation and necessary levelling /alignment of tank shall be carried out to make the tank in position on the non abrsive surface of saddle support and fixing with foundation bolts. Arrangement of hydra and lifting tools tackle are in contractor's scope.

Providing brick work (in width 225 mm or more) with F.P.S. bricks of class designation 7.5 in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) at all levels

Supplying and filling with fine Brahmani river sand under and above tank including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete as and where required as per direction of EIC

Safely Shifting of trolley mounted Transformer oil filter machine of approx. weight 2 Tons from Switchyard to HWP plant site. (Vehicle for shifting of filter machine will be supplied by Dept). Arrangement of hydra and lifting tools &tackle are in contractor's scope.

Supply of fabricated angle/strip, and fencing net of MS material of required shape & size and repair work of fencing of 132KV switchyard complete as per direction of EIC including Welding, cutting supplying bolts, nuts and washer etc. painting as required are in contractor's scope.
