(ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include GI strip and GI protection pipe of length 7.5m, excess beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 3Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 3Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt. (v) For effective visibility identification and traceability of earth pit (EP) with corresponding earth of eqpt and bldg, markers in metal (Mild Steel) shall be provided. Earth test of earth pit is to be provided with a colour code. The direction regarding the size, shape and colour of the Mild steel identification board etc, shall be given by the Engineer-in-Charge.(vi) All joints of strip are to be welded on both sides (over lapping) except test point.
