Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth of pot hole exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm including rolling over the broken surfaces using 8 to 12 tonnes power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Soling (or sub base) with broke boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and considered to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

Screening road metal, Chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (Materials from both sides of screen measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

150mm thick water bound Macadam in two layer (75 mm each layer) (compacted thickness) using Granite, Trap or basalt stone with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per discription of serial item No. 04 herein before but except materials complete all as specified and directed. (Serviceable stones retrieved from will be reused).

Preparing surfaces of unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 KG/ 10 Sqm of surface area using paving bitumen VG -30 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 4.5 to 5.5% (as per design mix) binder content by weight of total mix laid using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using paving bitumen VG 30 grade and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne capacity Tendam Vibratory Roller used in static mode complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note :- (1) Design mix shall also clearly specify filler (%), total quantity & Bitumen & Rolling required for 30 mm thick semi dense asphaltic concrete and BM. (2) Contractor shall be aware of local material and design mix prevailing in area. If Binder % worked out (in design mix) more then the % specified, same shall be provided without any extra cost.

Premix bituminous macadam not exceeding 50mm consolidated thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with min 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient including cleaning of existing surface by brushing with wire brushes, sweeping with compressor air blower to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5Kg/ 10 Sqm of surface area using paving bitumen and laying premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 4.5 to 5.5% (as per design mix) binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using paving bitumen any penetration and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne capacity Tendam Vibratory roller used in static mode complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Providing and applying 2.0 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, 20% glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Road stud high density reflective lens ABS plastic body of colour as approved by GE 125mm X 125 mm X 25mm fixed with steel nails and adhesive including fixed in repair / replacement complete all as specified and directed. Make : 3M-290 of 3M or equivalent model of make specified in Appx 'B'.

Informatory board of size 1500mm x 750 mm made of aluminium composite panel (ACB) sheet 2mm thick with frame of stainless steel rectangular pipe 25 x 15mm and outer boarder of stainless steel pipe 35mm dia and front side marking with retro reflective high intensity sheet 400 micron thick of blue/green/white colour and pasted with heating process. the letters shall be 100mm to 250 mm high of white colour cut to shape with special plotter and in proper manner and board shall be fixed with 75mm dia MS Pipe (Heavy duty) including painting (White/black) and embeded in ground with PCC 1:2:4 cement concrete tyoe B-2 including excavation and earthwork complete all as specifed and directed by engineer-in-charge.

Precast cement concrete kerb stone of size 400x300x100 mm with one edge rounded, set and jointed with CM 1:3 inculding excavation and earthwork and fixing of the stone and picking around complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of newly plastered surfaces and applying two coats of colour wash complete all specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulders/block masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, ashlar facing, dressed stonework, precast concrete articles and precast concrete block walling etc. Complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 m wide and n. exc. 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc. n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 in depth and getting out in soft / disintegrated rock complete all as specified.

PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete or as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.

Stone masonry walling or squared walling in cm 1:6, brought upto courses using dressed equal size Porbandar stone of superior quality complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of stone masonry surfaces or concrete surfaces on wall in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in benching, bands, copings, bed plates and drains finished exposed surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel upto 60 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms moulds, mitred / stopped ends complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

RCC Hume pipe medium Grade NP-3, 600mm dia laid in tranches, jointed and tested for leekage complete with collars in cement mortar 1:1 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Removing excavated material soil/rocks n.exc. 500 m but n exc 1.50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete or drain foundation complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete of any description and any position complete all as specified and directed.

Pre-cast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slabs, drain, manholes, septic tanks and set in cement mortar 1:4 including use & waste form work for even & smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Reinforcement will be measured and paid for separately under relevant Item(s).

Mild steel CRS bars 10mm dia and over , cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.
