Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the clean surface with gunny bag with remove loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Bitumenous concrete (BC) 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) layer conforming to clause 507 of MORT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, with 5.4% binder (VG-30) contents by weight of total mix, crushed aggregate of grading 2, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved job mix formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen of specific temperature throughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen contect, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives as per mix design in hot mix plant (batch type) of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks or any other approved and and suitable arrangements, laying and hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, including level and camber through rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tendem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface Contd../-

Contd.. including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) Job Mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 5.4 % by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.5 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) The cost of materials, transportation, Job mix formula form lab and testing charges for various tests as required are included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Cost of Filler i.e. rock dust, hydrated lime or cement is deemed to be included in unit rate.

Scarifying or picking gravelled exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm deep, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS-1 conforming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 0. 7-1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Providing, laying & Compaction of bituminious, macadam (BM) compacted thickness not exceeding 75 mm thick conforming to clause 504 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridges works (Fifth Revision) using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MoRT&H specification for Road and Bridges work (Fifth revision) Premixed with bituminious binder bitumen grade VG-30 @3.4% (percent by weight of total mix) prepared in batch type Hot Mix Plant transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Notes : (i) Mix Design for Bituminous macadam shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 55.00 Per KG and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified is respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sqm. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes not exceeding 30 mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 2.5 mm thick, white/ yellow hot thermoplastic road marking paint, conforming to BS standards 3262 with 20% of glass beads (intermixed) spread and laid by automatic mechnical engine driven machine, painting as in strips (continuous or breaking) of width not exceeding 10 cm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye/solar stud, aluminum alloy shell (100% water proofing design of size 125 mm x 125 mm x 25 mm (shank 65 mm) of high efficiency Mono crystaline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufacturer's instructions etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing cat eye, solar reflective type, of metal body alloy of size 100 mm x 100 mm x 20 mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/ 50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150mm x 150mm x 300mm) type B-1 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair of convex mirror minimum 100 cm dia, outdoor type, Polycarbonate body material, acrylic and mirror thickness not less than 3 mm for traffic security purpose with and including 75 mm dia, 2.00 meter long SS pipe Gde 30G fixed with nut bolt and adjustable brackets/ clamp system for mounting including necessary excavation and embeded in cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) in a block of mininimum 300 mm x 300 mm x 300 mm Size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair ABS Speed Breaker/ Rubber Rumbler designed to withstand load of up to 30 tons, of height 50 mm and width 380 mm in two colour of length 500 mm each, fixed alternately with reflectors on either side complete fixed with epoxy and bolts by drilling 6 mm x 75 mm dia fastener as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
