Providing Water proofing treatment with APP membrane to roof slab of Electrical Department Office Building in Yard

Provide and lay water proofing treatment consisting of: (i) through cleaning of existing RCC roof slab (ii) Repairing of all surface cracks wider than 3mm with polymer modified mortar prepared with Sikatop 77 acrylic polymer. (ii) Providing and laying cement plaster in CM 1:6 (where ever required to cover the undulations of slab surface) duly admixed with Sika Plastocrete Super @ 0.2% by weight of cement, over a bond coat of Sika Latex Cement Slurry to make the surface smooth and even (iii) Application of priming coat of compatible bituminous primer Sika WP Shield Primer W @ 0.300 kg per sqm over the cleaned and prepared roof surface complete as per satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) Providing and laying STP(Shalimar) or Sika Atactic Polypropylene Polymer (APP) modified five layer prefabricated waterproofing membrane with thermal fusible properties on both side and having minimum thickness of 3.0mm and unit weight not less than 4.0 kg/sqm reinforced with non woven spun bonded polyester reinforcement @ 160 gm / sqm, <-50C cold flexibility. The layer of the membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints properly, leaving no bare edge or end of APP membrane and finishing the surface with trowel or otherwise to obtain a uniform surface. The minimum side lap and end lap shall be kept at 75mm and 100 mm respectively. The membrane shall be laid over a coat of bituminous primer @ 0.300 kg./ltr per sqm made by the same membrane manufacture after necessary surface preparatory works such as cleaning the surface thoroughly, shaping mouths of outlets including cutting grooves (50mm x 50mm) in parapet and inserting edge of membrane and mending good damages by sand cement mortar (1:4) and shall be finished in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (v) Applying two coats of aluminium painting .

Providing plain cement concrete 1:2:4 nominal mix for haunching concrete by using 20 mm aggregate and baby chips including mixing, depositing in position, tampering, finishing, curing including all materials & labbour etc., complete all as directed.

Providing 12mm thick plaster with CM(1:6) to Roof top Coloumns by using suitable Forroc chemicals etc., including cost of all materials, labour complete all as directed.

Removing the existing waters tanks carefully and same as fixed after completion of work as per directions of the engineer.
