A-(SUPPLY Items)
Supply of HDPE duct 40/33 mm as per RDSO/ SPN/ TC / 45/2013/Rev.2.0 with latest 1 amendments as available. For each Km of HDPE duct following items are to be supplied a) End Plugs- 2no b) Cable sealing plugs -2 no. (c ) Plastic couplers slip fit/push fit type - 2no d) End plugs to be provided along with drum -2 nos.
Supply of 2x24 fiber optic fiber splice straight joint enclosure (SJC) complete with all accessories as per RDSO/SPN/TC/68/2014, Rev.3 or latest specs for 24 fiber OFC cable with latest amendment.
Supply of Fiber Distribution Management System (FDMS)/LIU for 24 Fiber, complete with all accessories with patch cords & pigtails as per TEC Spec. GR/FDM/01/02 April'2007 or latest.
Supply of OFC patch chord with FC/SC/LC connector at one end FC/SC/LC connector at another end as per site requirement (suitable for media convertor/ SFP supplied) & length of patch cords 10 meters as per RDSO/SPN/TC/69/2007 Rev. 1.0 or latest.
Supply of Thermo-shrink Universal Jointing kit for Quad Cable (for Straight Joints/Derivation Joints) as per RDSO spec IRS/TC-77/2012 revision 3 With latest Amd.
Supply of Emergency Socket 6-PIN Flat Only (suitable for Emergency Socket Box) as per RDSO specification No. TRS TC 42/20 with Version 1.0 or latest.
Supply of Emergency socket Box of FRP material as per RDSO Specification no. RDSO/SPN/TC/44/02 Version 2.0 with Amendment 2.0 of latest.
Supply of PVC insulated flexible 3 core x 2.5 sq mm multi-strand copper conductor PVC insulated, armoured; confirming to IS: 1554 part-I provided for display boards, of make - Vedanta/Finolex/L&T/Polycab/Plexonics.
Supply of Digital low current clamp meter to measure current leaks (parasitic draw 9 down to 1 mA) and electric loads from 1mA to 100 Amp AC/DC, Voltages from 0 to 600V AC/DC, small jaw size to measure current in signalling circuit, 4 digit display. Make -Fluke, GTC/KEW, Scope or superior with better specification as mentioned with all accessories like test lead, batteries and carrying case, sample may be got approved from consignee before supply.
Supply of basic material to construct Maintenance Free Earth for Ring Earth consisting as per Specification No. RDSO/SPN/197/2016 Ver1.0 or latest, bonding connections drawing no. SDO/RDSO/E&B/002. (a) Copper bonded steel electrodes of 3.0 m long, 17.0 mm dia. 10 minimum with copper bonding thickness of minimum 250 micron and UL listed and marked -1 No. (b) Earth Enhancement compound of RDSO approved brand supplied in sealed bags of minimum 30- 35Kg.- 1 Nos. (c ) Copper Strip of 200mm x 25mm x 6mm to exothermically welded to Earth electrode- 1no. (d) Copper Strip of 300mm x25mm x 6mm (MEEB) - 1no. (e) Copper Strip of 150mm x25mm x 6mm (SEEB)- 1no.
B-(EXECUTION & SUPPLY-EXECUTION Items)
Transportation and Laying of HDPE pipe as per approved cable route plan in the excavated trench, taking due care while transporting and laying the same in the trenches or other protective works. Both the end of duct should be sealed with end plugs before laying and should.
Supply and installation of Plastocrate pre-fabricated OFC jointing pits (RCC/PVC) size 2 1.0m x 1.0m x 0.6m. The jointing pits shall be completely filled with sand up to 30cm from bottom level of pit to prevent entry of rodent after blowing and jointing of OFC covering joint enclosure. The material shall be supplied as per engineer in charge.
Supply, Fabrication & Erection of Emergency post assembly complete with 6 Pin Socket Box and its wiring as directed by Engineer In charge. Complete work will be done by 3 contractor with excavation, if required. Emergency plug & socket should be RDSO Spcn. No. IRS/TC/42/87or latest & each socket should have inbuilt universal lock with key. this includes erection of whole assembly it's foundation by brick, masonary and painting of whole assembly including EC Socket box.
Supply and installation of RCC cable route marker engraved and painted on both side along the route every 50mm and route diversion as per Drg. No 4014/00/CC4 or latest/ Stone marker.
Cement concrete work for miscellaneous items (RCC cable route markers and others) 5 in the ratio 1:3:6. Item includes excavation, ramming, curing and plastering with cement & sand mixture (aggregate not exceeding 3.8 cm.) (Aggregate cement & sand to be supplied by the contractor).
Installation of Unit Maintenance Free Earth to achieve a resistance less than 1 ohm as supplied. It includes- [i] Digging the earth to the required depth. [ii] Insertion of electrode. [iii] Filling of earth enhancing compound [Approx. 30 Kg] [iv] Provision of exothermic weld connections to copper tape of 25 mm x 6 mm x150 mm to the earth electrodes. All material tools and features required for weld will be arranged by contractor. [v] This also includes CC cover 1.5 ft x1.5 ft. 1 ft wall thickness 2inch with cover 3 inch thickness. [vi] Cables 35 Sq mm/ 16 Sq mm/10 sq mm for connecting earth to busbar, busbar to busbar and busbars to various equipments. Earth electrode of 17.20 mm dia and 3.00 meter long high tensile low carbon steel circular rods molecularly bonded with copper and outer surface [minimum copper bonding thickness of 250 microns to made requirement of under writer's laboratories [UL]467-2007 or latest. [vii] Copper strips of 150 mm x25 mm x 6 mm to be welded with each earth electrode, copper strips of 300 mm x 25 mm x 6 mm for main equip- potential busbar, copper strips of 150mm x 25 mm x 6 mm sub equip-potential busbar in relay room, power room, OFC Huts and panel room. [viii] GI strip 25 mm x 2 mm for ring formation of earth pits Earth enhancement material in bags for each Earth Electrode. Inspection chamber of site 300 mm x300 mm x 300 mm [Inside dimension] of approximate 50 mm thick with pulling hooks to cover the earth pits. Note : The installation of this item shall be carried out by the contractor as per RDSO Specn. No. RDSO/SPN/ 197 Ver 1.0 or latest. Typical RDSO approved drawings referred in the RDSO specification document are: [i] SDO/RDSO/E&B/001 for typical installation of Earth, [ii]SDO/RDSO/E&B/002 for typical bonding and earthing connections, [iii] SDO/RDSO/E&B/003 for typical arrangement for earth resistance measurements.
Excavation of trench 300mm wide at the bottom and 1.2 mtr deep, in all type of soils including clearing of trees, bushes, etc. and refilling of cable trench by excavated soil and ramming after laying of HDPE DUCT (laying of HDPE/DWC & 6 Quad. cables, PDF cables etc., will be paid under 7 different items of the schedule). Where desired dimensions of trenches could not be achieved proportionate payment will be made as decided by Engineer-in-charge of the Railway at site. The trenching outside the station limits I.e.) between the home signal of station 'A' to home signal of station 'B' may be done manually or by machine, as per the directions of site in charge. In no case the payment will be made for the trench of higher dimensions, than the dimensions as mentioned above.
Horizontal direction drilling/boring without damage of surface road using Auger Machine. The bore shall be 150 mm Dia & shall be done at the depth of minimum 1200 mm from the 8 ground level. The ground level shall be considered ignoring the bank height of the bank of the road. The length of the bore shall be minimum 4 Mtr long. The HDD with or without HDPE pipe as per direction of Engineer In charge. Note: HDPE pipe supply is taken as separate item. This item also includes cable laying (HDD boring).
Splicing of laid under above items OFC cable and making the splice joint in dust free environment with contractor's own equipments and labour. Straight joint enclosure (SJC) is covered under schedule 'A' remaining all required materials, tools , plants shall be arranged by the 9 contractor. splicing shall be started from one end and each splicing shall be monitored after splicing and after closing the enclosure for all the fibers from one central location by contractor's engineer with his own OTDR and optic Talk set with railway engineer , trace for the fibers shall be taken and signed jointly, if any fibred splice shows high loss/lossy event, the same shall be redone before completion of splicing work. The splice loss shall be as per the policy/technical circulars issued by the railways from time to time.
Blowing of OFC through HDPE duct & protective work (elicited in above item) already provided. Where it is not feasible to blow OFC due to curves, road/track crossings, bridges or for any other reason, OFC shall be drawn or laid manually as per standard procedure. All the equipments and machinery required shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. In case OFC is to be laid 10 adopting 'Direct in trench' method then this item shall be paid as per accepted rate of this schedule. Blowing/Laying shall be started from one end and each drum laying shall be monitored after blowing/laying and before leaving the site. Trace/cable parameters for all the fiber/conductors shall be taken from one central location by contractor's engineer with his own OTDR /measuring equipments with railway engineer, trace/cable parameters for the fibers/conductors shall be taken on papers and signed jointly, if any fiber / conductors shows high loss event, the same shall be rectified before completion of work.
Laying of S&T Cables of various cores/ pairs/ quads in trenches/ GI pipes/ RCC pipes/ DWC pipes/ Trucking. This also includes laying of cables in track crossings & road crossings. Item 11 includes provision of labels of colored plastic adhesive tapes or any other identifiable material on each cable to give the cable number at each G.P.(Cables will be daggered before and after its laying by contractor under supervision of Railway Representative and he will submit the meggering report of each testing). Length of the cable laid includes the length of the cable coiled for termination purposes. NOTE: The unit may be read as "RM".
Jointing of 4 / 6 quad /Signaling cable with Heat Shrinkable straight through Jointing 12 Kit. All the material required for the work are to be arrange by contractor himself at his own cost except Thermo-shrinkable Joint Kit . After jointing the cable through test such as insulation test, continuity cable losses etc. to be carried out jointly with Railway Engineer. If any defect or any damage is observed during jointing, the contactor has to redo the joint free of cost.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Automatic Multiple Media Auto- Changeover Device, for simultaneously interconnecting Digital Axle Counter, UFSBI, Block Phone, Etc. across a Block Section/IBs over multiple media as per Technical Specification.
