Excavation in foundations, trenches etc, in earth work, lift upto 1.50mts. Stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 metres clear from the edge of excavation & returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers, when required into plinths sides of foundations etc conslidating each depositrd layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed within a lead and lift as per the direction of engineer in Charge.
Providing Laying, jointing & testing in trenches of galvnised MSERW pipe as per IS 3183-2012 of make tata/Jindal/Surya Roshni,including providing & welding MS flanges at every 100 mtr pipe Conforming to table IS 6392-1971(Latest with upto date amendments)with plain end MSERW pipe in three layers on both faces the make the joint leak proof.The welding of flanges should conform to IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS 814-1991 and required number of nuts & bolts conforming to IS 1364 including cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts .The thickness of gasket sheet not less than 3.00 mm conforming to IS 2712-1998 including cost of flanged bends .The MS Flanged are to be provided at every 100 mtrs pipe and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS 816-1965 with an electrode as per IS 814-1967 Including required numbers and size of MS nuts and bolts as per IS 1369-1967 and compressed esbestos fibre jointing gasket sheets not less than 3 MM thick as per IS 2712-1965. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layer to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS 5822-1994 (earth work intrenched to be measured and paid for seprately). The pipes shall have zinc coatingized as per relvant IS 4736 in factory latest with upto date ammendments.
