SPECIAL REPAIRS / REPLACEMENT OF OLD RUSTED STREET LIGHT POLES, STREET LIGHTS, FLOOD LIGHTS AND ALL CONNECTED ACCESSORIES AT NCB UNDER AGE E/M NO-II OF GE (U-I) VISAKHAPATNAM

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, laying cables etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl Item No. 1.00 here in before but depth exceeding 1.5 m and not exceeding 3 m in depth.

Returning, filling in and including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L sand cushioning with clean and dry rever sand in trenches for protection of UG cable and including punning down complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness of sand coushioning shall only measured and paid.

Supply & laying sub class 'B', class designation 75 bricks of old size, laid over sand cushioning along alignment of cable as protection to cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed. Note : Sand cushioning will measured and paid separately.

S&F Steel tubular swaged poles conforming to IS-2713, complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws, type 410 SP-31 (9 m long) and including painting with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of primer on exposed surfaces and black bituminous paint on steel surface embeded in concrete and 03 Nos band / strips with white synthetic enamel paint, 30 cm wide each at a distance of 30 cm from top of plinth block and numbering of poles including taking down existing unserviceable pole including demolition of coping and foundation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Rate quoted shall deemed to inclusive of supply, errect with base plate including painting to poles as described. (ii) Excavation, earth work and PCC work will be measured and paid for separately under respective items.

S&F LED street light fitting of capacity 90 watt, 230 V AC operating temperature 10 to 50 degree celsius, 5700K outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum housing and heat resistant, toughened glass cover including thermal management in multiple optics complete, high efficiency electronic driver, IP-66 (minimum) protection, impact resistance of IK 07, minimum efficiency 100 lumen/watt, inbuilt SPD of capaciity 4 KV, internally prewired and including electrically connecting & taking down old unserviceable street light fittings complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Supply of new GI Pipe bracket if required shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item.

Supply & laying LT XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with alumimium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 16 Sqmm x 4 Core, laid in trenches / duct / on pole including taking down existing unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Sl item No. 9.00 here in before but cross sectional area 25 Sqmm x 4 Core

S&F 50 mm bore dia galvanised steel tubing, Light grade galvanised, laid under road crossing, for cable protection or fixed to poles, walls or laid under floors including taking down existing un-serviceable pipe of any description. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting the tarmac / hard standings in road and excavating trenches across the road in size not exceeding 0.45 m wide and 0.6 m depth for laying cable / cable protection pipe including refilling earth & making good top surface of the disturbed portion with 100mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) / bituminous mix as per existing & matching with the surroundings including removal of rabbish off to distance not exceeding 100 m complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Unit rate quoted against this item shall deemed to include cost of road cutting, earth work excavation, plain cement concrete work required for making good top of the surface, complete.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to earth lead of 4 mm dia GI earth conductor by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR part-I connected to earthing test point including dismantling existing old earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, RCC 1:1.5:3, type A1 cover slab, 50 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bar @ 140 mm C/C both ways, 10 mm dia plain bar lifting handle embedded in cover slab, Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point upto 7.5 m length, 20 mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, 40 mm bore GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer etc.

S&F PVC insulated 3 core multistranded sheathed FLRS grade cable with 1.5 Sqmm copper conductor for connecting junction box to of street / security light etc. and including 20 mm bore dia PVC condute and including taking down existing un-serviceable cable and condute of any description complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F weather proof cable junction box of size not less than 250 mm x 200 mm x 105 mm made out of FRP (Hot moulded type) with terminals, IP 66 (minimum), suitable for outdoor installation including 01 No 5/6 Amp MCB, 100 Amp rated 3 pole connector, fixing arrangement with MS flat of size 25 x 3 mm with necessary cable lugs, glands, nuts, bolt and washers, connection & taking down existing un-serviceable junction box complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bracket suitable for street light made out of GI pipe light grade galvanised 40 mm bore & 1.20 mtr length (minimum), bend to "L" shape (with single street light hanging arrangement) including 2 pairs of MS flat iron clamps made out of 40 x 6 mm MS flat, nuts, bolts & washers etc, & including painting the bracket with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including taking down existing un-serviceable bracket complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bracket suitable for street light (01 No linear type with two flood light hanging arrangement) made out of MS of suitable size fabricated to shape required, linear type / L section not less than 1.20 mtr length (minimum), bend to shape required including 2 pairs of MS flat iron clamps made out of 40 x 6 mm MS flat, nuts, bolts & washers etc, & including painting the bracket with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including taking down existing un-serviceable bracket complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bracket suitable for street light (01 No round shape with four flood light hanging arrangement & suitable for pole top mounted arrangement) made out of MS of suitable size fabricated to shape required, Round shape not less than 1.20 mtr length (minimum), bend to shape required including 2 pairs of MS flat iron clamps made out of 40 x 6 mm MS flat, nuts, bolts & washers etc, & including painting the bracket with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including taking down existing un-serviceable bracket complete all as specified and directed.

S&F LED flood light fitting of capacity 210 watt, 230 V AC operating temperature 10 to 45 degree celsius, 5700K outdoor type, IP-66 (minimum), SPD of capaciity 4 KV with drive and lamp pressure die cast aluminium housing, toughened glass cover with thermal management in multiple optics, with impact and corrosion resistant complete with driver and lamp, internally prewired and including electrically connecting & taking down old unserviceable flood light fittings from any position at a height exceeding 7.5 m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete including demolition of existing concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver blocks any shape and size confirming to IS 15658 - 2006 of 80 mm thickness M-40 with cement and pigment laid over 50 mm thick sand cushioning, sides of pavement packed with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of size 0.15 x 0.1 m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B1, (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in copings, benching and the like etc. including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.
