Earthwork in excavation up to 3.0 Mt by mechanical/manual mode for foundation, plinth beams, trenches or drains, pipe lines, inspection chambers etc. in all types of soils, mixture of gravel and soft / disintegrated rock other than hard rock including shoring & strutting, dewatering and bailing out wherever required, leveling and ramming the bottom of excavation and in the sides of the foundation, in layers of 200mm and consolidating the same and disposal and leveling of surplus material at places as directed within a lead of 500 m all as per specification and as per the directions of Engineer. Note: Excavated materials shall be used in plinth filling also as per directions of Engineer.

Filling any kind of excavated earth for area levelling and grading in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, breaking clouds, watering, rolling each layers with wooden or steel rammers and dressing up in embankments for roads/plinth etc. complete. Soil to be brought from source within township.

Supplying anti-termite chemical Imidaclopride - 30.5 % SC (soluble concentrate) of make Premise of Bayer/Considor of Weedicide India / Tata Termax of Tata Rallies in sealed container and depositing the same in Engineer's store at site.

Transporting the anti-termite chemical from the Engineer's store, diluting to make 1 % aquius solution of chemical supplied under It: 5.1, carrying out the anti-termite treatment with 7.5 Lit / SqM solution or as recommended by manufacturer by making hole at interval 300 C/C and depth to be mutually decided, in both direction in fully compacted surface dry soil of plinth including sides of foundation and trenches etc. in the back fill in immediate contact with foundation, the top surface of filled up earth inside the plinth, the junctions of walls and floors (at ground floor only) and the soil along external perimeter of building as per specification and as directed by the Engineer. Note: All above activities are to be completed at various stages of construction. Plinth area treated only will be measured and paid hence contractor shall quote accordingly.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete in 1:3:6 with minimum cement content of 220 kg/cum using maximum size of 20mm and below downgraded aggregate at all elevation for leveling course in foundation, trenches, pathways, coping, under floor etc. including mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, ramming, compacting, leveling, curing, finishing smooth all exposed surface etc. complete as per specification, drawings, and as directed by Engineer. (Rate quoted shall be inclusive of form work, scaffolding).

Providing and casting in situ RCC of grade 1:1.5:3 using stone of maximum size 20 mm and below down graded agregates including scaffolding, mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth all exposed faces for all in situ items as per drawings and specifications and pressure cement grouting in honeycomb portions if required. The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement but inclusive of formwork. NOTE: (i) Minimum consumption of cement shall not be less than 320 Kgs./Cu.m. (ii) Any upward variation in cement consumption to achieve 1:1.5:3 grade shall not be paid. (iii) At the time of Execution if the actual cement consumption is less than 320 Kg. suitable rebate per Kg. shall be applicable. (iv) Cube casting and testing for strength measurement shall be arranged by contractor and no extra cost will be paid for cube testing.

Providing, laying and placing in position steel reinforcement of all diameters of grade minimum Fe-500/Fe-550 confirming to IS:1786 latest edition of TATA / VIZAG / SAIL / RINL brand in all RCC works including removing scales, cutting, bending, placing and binding in position with 18 gauge annealed binding wire and cover blocks of cement mortar 1:2 etc. complete at all levels as per specifications and direction of Engineer.

Providing and laying at all elevations internal cement plaster of 10mm thick over ceiling in cement mortar 1:4 rubbed to perfectly smooth Trowel and even finish mala plaster including scaffolding, hacking of concrete surfaces, curing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer.

Providing and laying at all elevations internal cement plaster of 12mm thick on walls in cement mortar 1:5 rubbed to perfectly smooth Trowel finish mala plaster and even finish in plum and right angle etc. including scaffolding, hacking of concrete surfaces and walls of AAC Blocks as per Block manufacturer's specifications, curing etc. complete as directed by Engineer. Note: Procedure of applying this plaster shall be submitted for approval before application similarly sample plaster material and method shall be approved by Engineer.

Providing 20mm thick sand faced plaster by applying one coat of Ascoplast bond of Ascolite or simillar product of Dr. FIXIT PIDILITE / ROFF / Zycoprime plus / Sika / Choksey / Megicreat / Birla and laying in two coats with base coat of 12mm thick with cement sand mortar (1:4) and finishing coat of 8mm thick in CM (1:3) to external faces including adding water proofing compound of same manufacturer all at the rate specified by manufacturer in mortar making grooves, bands, drip-moulds, double scaffolding, curing etc. all complete at all elevations as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Providing at all elevation external water proofing cement plaster 20 mm thick over wall/concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 rubbed to perfectly smooth and even finish including scaffolding, hacking of concrete surfaces, curing, etc. complete as per specifications and as directed at all height etc. Water proofing compound from approved manufacturers shall be got approved from EIC before use. Water proofing compound shall be used as per manufacturers specification which shall be got approved by EIC.

Providing and applying Acrylic washable distemper paint two coats over a coat of primer (water thin able) of approved make and shade from Acrylic Tractor distemper of Asian Paints/ Bison Acrylic Distemper of Berger Paints / ICI Maxilite Acrylic distemper of ICI Dulux over the new walls / Ceiling. Item includes removing left out mortar dropping etc. thoroughly by scrapping, carrying out minor repairs including sealing cracks with cement or putty as instructed by Engineer, preparation of surface, making the surface smooth by sand paper etc., applying one coat of acrylic putty of approved brand, scaffolding; cleaning of dirt; wherever required etc. complete. Protecting with abro tape & cleaning doors, windows, ventilators, etc. after completion of work. Item also includes cost of all materials, labour, tools and tackles etc. complete. All material shall be applied as per manufacturer’s specification.

Providing and applying two coats of approved external emulsion paint over one coat of compatible primer (water thin able) on new surface to give an even shade with Exterior Emulsion paint of Asian Paints make Ace / Berger make - Wall masta / ICI-Dulux - Supercoat / Kansai Nerolac make - suraxa plastic approved shade including preparing the surface by making good the damaged and rough surface smooth, minor repairs, sealing of cracks with cement slurry/ Cement mortar , cleaning of doors, windows, ventilators, washing the surroundings after completion of work including cost of all materials, scaffolding, labour etc. complete as per Manufacturer's specification and as approved by the Engineer. No multiplication factor will be considered for measurement against paint applied on sand faced plaster for payment purpose. Only plain painted surface area shall be measured.

Providing and fixing in position at all floors heavy quality anodised aluminum sections for windows, ventilators etc. for various spans excluding glazing with standard extruded aluminum sections of Jindal / Indal / Hindalco with size as required for Windows / Frames / Shutters etc. conforming to relevant IS, with necessary accessories, such as rawal plugs, brass cadmium plated screws, mastic filling, weather strips, nuts, washers etc. The window / Alluminium section shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required. The shutters shall be provided with hinges, handles, pegs stays, locking arrangements the cost of these items shall be included in the rate. The inter locking sections shall be provided with extruded PVC weather strip to make the window weather tight. Glides should be provided with HDP anti-rattling pieces at the top and bottom to control vibrations due to wind, etc. complete. (all fittings should be anodised) including all material, transportation, Labour, scaffolding, tools and plants etc. complete as directed by Engineer. Payment will be made on the basis of weight of anodised aluminium sections fixed in position and no payment for gasket etc. will be made. Note-1) The items of window/ventilators shall include sealing the joints all-round the brick work / concrete / sills with kota / granite etc. and windows with approved mastic filler cement grout / epoxy compound / polysulphide compound or by any other means whatsoever by the contractor at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge to make the joints water tight. 2) The work contemplated under the item is for supplying and fixing the windows which shall be got done by the contractor by specialized agency in the field approved by NPCIL 3) One sample of windows with all fittings and fixtures along with locking arrangement including glass panels etc. complete as per schedule of quantities and specifications should be submitted for preliminary inspection before procurement on large scale. 4) The contractor shall submit six copies of shop drawing for windows, ventilators etc. showing the dimension detail etc. for the approval of the Engineer-in-Charge. 5) After the preliminary inspection, the manufacturing of windows should be taken up only after rectification of defects etc. to the full satisfaction of the Engineer.
