| 1.01 | Replacement of drive drums, tripper drums and gravity pulley of product conveyors at NP Plant/Offsite
Work involves: Collection and transportation of required tools and tackles from the Workshop/Toolcrib department. The spare drum shall be transported from the off-site/stores/workshop to the work location and positioned appropriately. Upon receiving clearance from the Process Department, the conveyor belt shall be properly arrested using belt clamps after lifting the gravity weight. The damaged drum, along with the Plummer blocks and bearings, shall then be dismantled and shifted to the Off-site Mechanical Workshop. New bearings and Plummer blocks on both sides shall be installed with proper lubrication. After completion, the belt clamps shall be released, the required gravity weight reapplied, and the conveyor tested under load without any sway. | 1.02 | Replacement of Tail drums, Bend pulleys and Snub pulleys etc. of product conveyors at NP Plant/ Offsite
Work involves: Collection and transportation of tools and tackles required for the work from Workshop/Toolcrib dept. Spare drum shall be transported to work site from Off site / stores / workshop and positioned at the required place. After getting the process clearance, the belt shall be arrested properly with belt clamps, after lifting the gravity weight. The damaged drum with Plummer block and bearings shall be dismantled and taken to Offsite Mechanical workshop. New bearings and plummer block at both side shall be fixed properly with lubricant. Release belt clamps, provide required gravity weight and service the conveyor on load, with out any sway. Rigging assistance shall be provided for the alignment of drums. Dismantling and refixing of the zero speed sensor, to facilitate drum replacement, falls under the scope of the contractor. | 10 | No | - | - |
| 1.03 | Removal and Refixing of the product conveyor drums for lagging purpose at NP Plant/ Offsite
The work involves collection and transportation of the necessary tools and tackles from the Workshop/Toolcrib department. The specific drums to be lagged will be identified by the shift engineer. After obtaining process clearance, the conveyor belt shall be properly arrested using belt clamps, following the lifting of the gravity weight. The drum requiring lagging, along with its Plummer block and bearings, shall be dismantled and kept aside for lagging purposes. Note: The drum lagging work is not under the contractor’s scope. Once lagging is completed and clearance is received from the shift engineer for reinstallation, the drum shall be positioned properly, bearings inspected, and Plummer blocks on both sides reassembled with appropriate lubrication. After completing all mechanical works, release the belt clamps, reapply the required gravity weight, and test the conveyor under load to ensure smooth operation without sway. Rigging assistance shall be provided for the coupling/decoupling and alignment of the drums. Dismantling and refixing of the zero speed sensor, to facilitate drum replacement, falls under the scope of the contractor. | 10 | No | - | - |
| 1.04 | Replacement of Troughing/Imapact idlers in bagging plant / product conveyors.
Work involves: The required troughing/impact idlers shall be transported from the plant area or stores to the work site. Upon receiving work clearance from the Process Department, the damaged troughing idlers of conveyors in the NP Offsite and Bagging Plant areas shall be replaced as per the instructions of the Officer-in-Charge. | 1.06 | Replacement of Troughing Idler Frames, Impact Idlers Frames And Self Aligning Idler Frames With Rollers Of All Sizes of Product Conveyors at NP & Offsite.
Work involves: The required materials shall be transported from Plant area or stores to the work site. Upon receiving the work clearance from Process Department., dismantle the defective idler frames with roller from the position in the conveyor line, clean the area properly, repair/replace the frame with rollers, and fix them back in position as per the instructions from the Officer-in-Charge. Damaged repairable frames shall be kept at the proper location as per the instructions from the Officer-in-Charge, damaged unrepairable frames shall be transported to the scrapyard. | 100 | No | - | - |

Work involves : Re usable rubber disc shall be removed from the damaged return idlers. Return idlers shall be serviced / repaired by replacing the rubber discs / bearings as per the instructions of the Officer-in-Charge. The drum shall be aligned/fixed to the connecting part, as per instruction of the Officer-in-Charge.
