Name of work: Supply, Installation, Trenching/HDD/Clamping, Laying of Duct, Blowing of OFC through Ducts, Splicing, Testing & Commissioning for OFC Shifting/Replacement work in various sections of Ahmedabad Territory of Western Region.

01-Schedule of Requirement (Ahmedabad Territory)

Excavation of trench (in all types of soil but excluding rocky soil) at 1.2 mtr depth & 01 300 mm wide at the bottom of trench. Wherever excavation of trench is not possible up to 1.2 mtrs as per EIC, the rate for trenching & backfilling will be paid on prorata basis as per clause (5.18) . Details as per drawing no.RAILTEL/WR/OT/DFC/001

Horizontal drilling at a approximately depth of 1.65m below the formation level of the earth including insertion of two HDPE duct along with couplings etc.

Supply & fixing of GI troughing & Channel on girder bridges for carrying cables. Fixing 03 of the channel with Girder is to be done with hook/ 'J' bolts of the suitable size to hold the load of the troughing as per Drg. No. CSTE/3004 GI channel of size 100 mm x 50 mm x 06 mm, 1.2 Mtr Long. 3(a)- Supply & fixing of MS channel

3(b)- Supply & fixing of GI trouphing

Concreting is to be done where OFC is to be protected and to keep the route marker in position. At bridges and culverts to protect OFC on approcahes and wherever necessary as 05 directed by RCIL engineer. The propotion of cement send and metal the ratio is 1:3:6 curing and ensuring proper setting. The depth is 0.15 meter and width is 0.3 mtrs. The OFC to be drawan through HDPE or G.I. pipe or half cut RCC as per site condition and as per site condition as directed by RCIL Engineer.

Protective works to enable the laying of OFC in GI pipe of 65 mm ID on girder bridges, masonry bridges, Tunnels, cuttings, culverts & other specific locations etc. This also include supply 06 and fixing of M.S. channel/RCC pipes as support/trenching & backfilling/concreting/support pillars/brick work/clamping on walls etc. after laying and all other required material to suit the site condition to restore back the surface to original as detailed in the technical supplement & as advised by the engineer at site

Laying of HDPE duct in open trenches/ DWC pipes/RCC pipes /G.I pipes/ etc as per instruction of EIC.

Pulling and Blowing of 48 F OFC in already laid HDPE duct in trench as per EIC.

Supply of Straight joint Enclosures and Splicing of Optical Fiber (2X48) :-(1) Supply of 10 straight joint enclosures (SJC) complete with all accessories with latest amendments. (2) Splicing of Optical fiber cables (2 X 48 Fibers) and testing. This include excavation of pit & its backfilling, supply of all type of relevant materials and any other equipment of all types.

Supply, Transportation & installation of Pre Fab/RCC OFC CHAMBER (specification & dimensions as per drawing attached ) & filling with river sand & anti termite chemical after jointing work is done.

Supply and fixing of route markers engraved and painted on both sides along the OFC route at every 50 mtrs and at chambers. Details as per drawing no. RAILTEL/WR/OT/DFC/012

Preparation of Cable Route Plan after carried out survey the work as per the 13 engineering practices are mention in the tender document the plan should be made in Auto Cad indicating the depth, all types of pipe , CC, joint/ loop locations , markers , railway sinages etc. made in A-3 size page sample plan attached in technical section approximately 1-1.5 Kms. on 1 x A-3 page.(The GIS co- ordinate of the cable route should be indicated.)

Hiring of Truck (as and when required)for transportation of Goods.The rate includes fuel,driver and all others charges.

Hiring of Tata Sumo/Bolero/Ertiga for the inspection of work.

Protective works to enable laying of OFC on Metallic Road, Level crossing gates, underneath the track for crossing of track, over the culverts and bridges other than girder bridges. This includes supply of 120/103.5 mm OD/ID DWC pipe.

Supply of Plastic Coupler Slip fit type for HDPE duct 40/33 mm OD/ID

Supply 24F Armoured OFC cable

Supply of straight joint enclouser (SJC) complete with all accessories as per TEC specification No. GR/OJC-02/02 sep. 2003 with latest amendmenT AND SPLICING OF 2x24 FIBER and testing. This is including excavation of pit and backfilling.

Pulling and Blowing of 24 F OFC in already laid HDPE duct in trench as per EIC.
