Formation Works

Preparation of formation width by cutting of hill slopes to the desired slope depending upon the type of soil (soil/soil mixed with small boulders/ soft rock/ hard rock), including disposal of all excavated materials to the designated sites all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Execution of earth work in embankment by filling with earth free from roots etc. spreading in layers not exceeding 30cm including watering and finishing to required slope & level all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Disposal of excavated materials through vehicles upto 10 km lead to the designated site all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Permanent Works

Excavation in trenches in all type of soils (soil/soil mixed with small boulders/ soft rock/ hard rock) including dressing bottom, sides and disposal of all excavated materials to the designated sites all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying of Hard Core comprising of broken road metal size 5cm graded downwards spread in layers not exceeding 15cm including watering, ramming and finishing to required level and gradient all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying of plain cement concrete 1:5:10 in foundation or elsewhere including the cost of centering/ shuttering all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying of plain cement concrete 1:4:8 in foundation or elsewhere including the cost of centering/ shuttering all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying of plain cement concrete 1:3:6 in foundation or elsewhere including the cost of centering/ shuttering all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying of plain cement concrete 1:2:4 in foundation or elsewhere including the cost of centering/ shuttering all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying of Reinforced Cement concrete M-20 grade including the cost of steel and centering/ shuttering all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying of Reinforced Cement concrete M-25 grade including the cost of steel and centering/ shuttering all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying of Reinforced Cement concrete M-30 grade including the cost of steel and centering/ shuttering all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and laying of Reinforced Cement concrete M-35 grade including the cost of steel and centering/ shuttering all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and white washing (two coats) prepared by slaking freshly burnt class C lime conforming to IS 712-1964, the quantity of gum to be used shall be @ 4 kg/cum of cream.

Providing and laying of weep holes of size 100mm diameter using PVC pipes ISI marked complete in all respects all as specified in the particular specifications or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge

Providing and fixing of ordinary Km stone complete in all respects all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of ordinary Sub Km stone complete in all respects all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of ordinary 5th Km stone complete in all respects all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying of Precast Reinforced Cement Concrete Box Culvert of span 2m and 2m height in M50 Grade Concrete having length 10m of shape and size as specified in Drawing No. 2 / Particular Specifications complete in all respects or as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Providing and construction of Precast Reinforced Cement Concrete Hume Pipes Culverts of 1000mm diameter, including bedding of M15 grade concrete conforming to Clause 2904 and jointing conforming to Clause 2906 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) and backfilling complete in all respects all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying of Random or polygonal rubble walling in cement Mortar (1:6) brought course 45 cm well bonded as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Flush pointing on stone work with cement mortar (1 Cement: 3 sand)

Providing and laying of Random or polygonal rubble walling in cement Mortar (1:4) brought course 45 cm well bonded as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Surfacing Work

Preparation of sub-grade by excavating upto 20 cm average depth, filling with small stone metal out of excavated material, dressing to required camber or super elevation and consolidating with power roller including disposal of surplus material within a lead of 30 m as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying of GSB 15 cm thick (compacted) with stone aggregate conforming to grading No 1 as per Table-400-1 of MoRT&H specifications for Road & Bridge works including supply of material, watering and compaction all complete as specified in Particular Specifications and as approved by Engineer-In-Charge

Providing and laying a layer of Sand Blanketing to a depth of 25 mm, spraying water, compacting with power roller complete in all respects as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Scarifying existing BT surface in the manner to avoid any horizontal shear failure with overlaid WBM work complete in all respects as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing, and laying of Wet Mix Macadam of 75mm compacted thickness conforming to Clause 406 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) and all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and applying of Prime Coat by mechanical means conforming to clause 502 of MORT & H specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) and all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and applying of Tack Coat by mechanical means conforming to clause 503 of MORT&H (Fifth Revision) specifications and all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying of DBM of 50mm compacted thickness conforming to clause 505 of MORT&H (Fifth Revision) specifications and all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying of Bituminous Concrete of 50mm compacted thickness conforming to clause 507 of MORT&H (Fifth Revision) specifications and all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Road Furniture and Miscellaneous work

Providing and marking of Centre / Edge line with thermoplastic paint and glass beads with road marking machine conforming to clause 803 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) and all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing road Studs of size 100mm x 100mm as per clause 804 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) and all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing of Delineators conforming to Clause 806 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) embedded in ground in concrete of M15 Grade and all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing of Warning/ Mandatory road signs post made of MS Angle with Aluminum plates of 600mm size conforming to Clause 801 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) embedded in ground in concrete of M15 Grade all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing Informatory road sign post made of MS Angle with Aluminum plates of 800 x 600mm size conforming to Clause 801 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) embedded in ground in concrete of M15 Grade all as specified in Particular Specifications or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing of "W" metal beam crash barriers comprising of 3mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail (330mm), 70cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150x75x5mm spaced 2m centre to centre, 1.80m high, 1.10m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings conforming to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150x75x5mm, post embedded in M15 grade of concrete complete in all respects as per clause 811.3 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of Terminals/Anchors at the end of metal beam crash barriers to ensure safety of vehicles complete in all respects as per clause 811.3.5 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
