SPECIAL REPAIR/RENOVATION OF ROOF TREATMENT TO SCHOOL BUILDING/STAFF QTRS AT PALAMPUR.

M&L for cleaning the surface to make it dust free and sludge free removing any extended portions by grinding and if required using suitable equipments complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to pot holes, bug holes with SBR latex repair mortar (if any) and treating the cracks by opening them into V grooves by fast curing joint sealant including the following complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying primer over the prepared concrete surface with water based polyurethene primer.

M&L polyurethane roofing system having following key performance properties as follow:- (i) Water based elastomeric single component polyurethane UV resistant liquid membrane. (ii) Fully reinforced with randomly weaved glass fibre matting bound together by special emulsifier (iii) Roofing system should be completely seamless & zero flame application. (iv) Dry film thickness should be 1.0 mm with Tensile load of 1.5 N/Sq.mm & elongation is of 350% (v) Polyurethane roofing system should be of high solid content approx 65% by weight (vi) The roofing system should be compatible with bitumen.

The installation company of roofing system should be trained and authorized by manufacturer & installation to be carried out as per manufacturer's approved method statement. All auxiliary & accessories involved during application should be supllied by single manufacturer as a part of system. Any component used which is not manufactured by the roofing manufacturer can only be used with official approval from manufacturer.

Water based UV resistant elastomeric polyurethene liquid membrane is applied in two or three coats. Prior to the application of a 2nd coat the indicated waiting time is 8-12 hrs depending upon the changing ambient conditions particularly temperature and relative humidity.

M&L for roof water proofing:- Water based UV resistant elastomeric polyurethene liquid membrane is applied in combination with water based polyurethene liquid primer. (i) Apply first coat of approx 0.75 Kg/Sqm (for non absorbing substrates)- 1.00 Kg/Sqm (for absorbing substrates) of polyurethene liquid membrane on a length of approx 1m. (ii) Roll in the polyurethene primer (water based) and ensure that there are no bubbles or creases overlapping of the sika Fab 1 minimum 5cm. (iii) Apply second coat of approx 0.25 Kg/sqm -0.5 Kg/Sqm coat right into the wet fleece to achieve the required film thickness. The entire application shall happen while polyurethene liquid membrane water based is still liquid, wet in wet. (iv) Repeat step 1-3 until the roof area is waterproofed. (v) After the two coats are dry, seal the roof area with one or more additional coats of polyurethene liquid membrane water based . MAKE:- Sikalastic®-560/ShaliUrethane® BTD or equivalent in Fosroc Chamicals as approved by GE Note:- If any descripancy found between Sch 'A' and particular specification , then GE decision shall be final and binding.

Taking down cement plaster from roof projections /facia/parapets wall etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and directed .

Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of wall etc finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Peparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint white or tinted, complete all as specified and directed .
