Attending to transformer complaint 24 hrs of capacity upto 750 KVA tripping including meggaring of the cables and checking the physical condition of the transformer and assessing the physical condition and, checking oil level, conducting electrical LT testing like, measuring of IR values, ratio test, magnetic balance test, oil BDV test to assess the healthness of the windigs and if found statiafactory, then connections of the cable terminations and make arrange for charging the transformer.If transformer is found faulty, then recommend for the further repair/rewinding works to be carried out to put back the transformer into service.

Note :- (a) New transformer oil to be bought in company sealed ISI marked container with test certificate (b) Filtration /dehydration of transformer oil shall be carried out at the location where transformer is installed and required pipe connection from filter machine to transformer shall be made and rate shall be inclusive of quoted rate. (c) Necessary filter/dehydration plant having pressure gauge, hour meter, temperaturature gauge to be brought at site by contractor and to be kept permanently inside ND (V) till completion of work and rate deemed to be included in the quoted rate. In any condition, in-out of the filter machine during the progress of the work will not be allowed. (d) Transformer oil test report before and after dehydration/filtration shall be submitted duly authenticated by authorised person .

M&L for dismantling of HT/LT epoxy insulator after dismantling cables at outside & transformer terminal at inside of transformer for rectification of oil leakage through insulator or for replacement of insulator or for replacement of brass stud by taking out unsv gusket from inside & outside bushing and replacement with RC 70 C rubberised cork sheet gusket of proper thickness, reassemble old/new insulator, brass stud, HT/LT cable connection, HT/LT transformer inside terminal connection to original position all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Opening of top cover measured separately (b) Epoxy insulator HT/LT & Brush stud with nuts & bolts required new shall be measured as supply only. (c) Silicon sheet gusket shall be inclusive of quoted rate.

M & L for filtration/dehydration transformer oil of transformer voltage grade 11/0.415 KV, capacity 200 KVA to 3000 KVA indoor/outdoor type, floor mounted in situ till achieve dielectric strength minimum 40 KV at 4mm gap all as specified and directed.

M & L for topping up/replacement of transformer oil with new transformer oil suitable for working voltage 11000 volts grade including necessary dehydration to achieve dielectric strength min 40 KV at 4mm gap complete all as specified and directed. Make – GULF/Castrol/ HP /IOC /Savita /Power.

M&L for complete painting of transformer outer surface in situ/wksp with one coat of synthetic enamel paint using sprayer for transformer capacity 500-1600 KVA after prliminary preparation of old painted surface . Note :- (i) During process of painting, transformer will be under shut down for the period and the rate deemed to be included for running the sprayer machine with alternative arrangement by contractor. (ii) After completion of painting HT/LT outdoor bushing, cable termination joint, Oil inspection glass, meters and name plates to be made clean using volatile cleanner.

M&L for testing of transformer 500 KVA to 3000 KVA, 11/0.415 KV at various location by following test for HV & LV complete all as specified and directed. (a) Insulation Registance (b) Winding resistance (c) Turn ratio (d) Magnetic balance, (e) Oil BD value (Note: Required testing equipment for transformer test shall be brought by the contractor and rate shall be inclusive of quoted rate)

M & L for replacement of silica gel grains in the breather assembly of transformer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacement of breather assembly made with polycarbonate base and clear acylic glass of size to accommodate 1.0 kg of silica gel for transformer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacement of transformer temperature gauge dial type having temp range 0 to minimum 120 degree celcius complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacement of transformer explosion vent gasket complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only brass stud with accessories suitable for HT 11000 volts grade insulator with con & rubber washer, double Brass nuts & brass washer at both end of stud for Tr cap 750 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only brass stud suitable for LT 1100 volts grade insulator with con & rubber washer, double Brass nuts & brass washer at both end of stud for Transfomrer capacity 750 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out manually defective transformer of capacity 750 KVA from its position upto road n. exc 50 mtr and transportation by vehicle to workshop n. exc 25 KM and reinstallation at original position after repair including all cable/earth connections all as specified and directed. Note:- a) Rates for dismentling of HT/LT cable & earthing and reconnection after installation deemed to be included in the quoted rate, (b) Necessary crane for lifting of transformer and vehicle for transportation shall be arranged by the contractor and deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M & L for core & chamber cleaning by lifting up carefully transformer core after dismentling carefully terminal connections from core to HT/LT bushings, tap changer assy, drainout all oil and keeping in clean container, flushing with transformer oil for cleaning of core/winding, cleaning of transformer tank by removing all sludges, re-install core with tapchanger, all connection complete all as specified and directed for the transformer 750 KVA, 11/0.415 KV transformer complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Opening of top cover, nuts, bolts & washers, HT/LT busings, brash rods, de-hydration/topping up of oil as required, shall be mesured separately under appropriate item, (b) The work shall be carried out inside dockyard, (c) Transformer oil used for flushing shall be retained and re-used vide item No-1, (d) Empty transformer oil containers shall be arranged by the contractor and inclusive of quoted rate.

M & L for rewinding of HV/LV coil after lifting up carefully transformer core after dismentling carefully terminal connections from winding to tap changer assy and to HT/LT bushings, drainout all oil and keeping in clean container, dismentling core, dismentling all HT & LT coils from core for rewinding, testing and reassembling complete with HT/LT coils to core, required necessary numax paper insulation, insulating press board, precompressed board off sizes, vernishing, heating to achive insulation level not less than 1000 megaohms at both HT & LT side, core at transformer chamber, tap changer assy, terminal connection, refilling of oil complete for the transformer capacity 500 to 3000 KVA, 11/0.415 KV transformer all as specified and directed. Overhauling and replacement of minor spares of 400 Amp to 800 Amp 11 KV HT breakers for proper functionalling and servicing/ repairs, replacement of defective worn out components and refixing back including testing comprising the following:- (a) Disconnecting form socket contacts, cleaning and adjustment of gap, replacement of rings etc. (b) Checking the brekaer bushing of bus bar and circuit side, inspection/ servicing of internal surface for any arcing/ tracks. (c) Checking the epoxy body completely for any cracks, any sign of arcs/ tracks, cleaning thorougly with CTC including applying bectrol red varnish if necessary. (d) Checking the drive rod & drive beam insulator assembly and inspect for chocking/ tracks/ arcing. (f) Checking the condition of the spring charging motor along with gear box including servicing the motor & replacement of motor bearings if required. (g) Checking/ servicing of ratchet wheel assembly, driving and charging parts. (h) Chekcing the auxiliary switch, its contacts for proper functional operation. (i) Checking & servicing of raising/ lowering mechanisim and its locking system for proper functioning. (j) Checking & servicing of shutter assembly for its automatic opening/ closing

(k) Testing of VCB to confirm healthiness up to satisfactory results before reinserting in VCB panel. (i) Insulation Resistance test with 5000V digital insulation tester. (ii) Timing test at 70%, 100%, of rated control voltage. (iii) Contact Resistance Measurement test. (iv) AC Hi voltage test (if required) (l) Replace both the closing & tripping buffers and if required adjust VCB timing up to satisfactory limit. Note :- (i) Test results should be submitted to Engineer in-Charge to keep on record duly signed by all concerened complete all as specified and as directed. Submission of latest and valid calibration certifcate of all used testing kits and equipment from reputed laboratories approved by NABL. Calibration should be carried out through authorised CEIG Licenced agency only. (ii) Any abnormality found during testing, same shall be brought to the notice of Engineer in -Charge. (iii) The items like testing equipment, nuts, bolts, spring washers, petroleum jelly, CTC etc. Required to put the breaker in serviceable condition shall be supplied by the contractor and rate shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

M&L for de-carbonising/ cleaning maintenance of 11KV cubicle type VCB panels consisting of bus bar and circuit chamber, metering chamber, CTs, PTs and relay chamber all as specified below:- (i) Checking the bus bar and circuit spouts, cleaning with CTC and applying bectrol red varnish to the surface of the bus bar and circuit spouts. (ii) Checking the CTs/PTs for any arcing/ tracks, cleaning and applying one coat of varnish/ bectrol red. (iii) Cleaning of metering and relay chamber, checking of burnt wires if any, tightening of all connections to arrest the loose contacts. (iv) Applying mon - plast compound at bus bar joints after tightening all joints/ connections.

Taking down of wall mounted fan upto 450 mm dia from wall, dismmenting complete fan assy, removing of motor and taking out for rewinding to civil workshop outside dockyard, complete rewinding with super enamelled copper wire as per existing size, heating, varnishing replacement of both end bearing and complete assemble of motor, transport been to ND(V), complete assemble of exhaust fan,fixing to orginal position, testing commisioning complete including painting to complete fan assy complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling existing unserviceable /corroded LT Pillar Box and supply, fabricate, install, testing and commissioning out-door type, double door dust & vermin proof LT piller box of 2.1 M length, 1 M width & 1.6 M height fabricated vertically by using 50x50x5 mm angle iron frame, fixing with nuts & bolts on 75 x 40 mm ISMC as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge and using 3 mm thick CRCA MS sheet all over body front and back cover with hinges and aldrops for locking arrangments, 1 mm thick FRP coating all over the external surfaces and 3 mm thick MS sheet for bus bar cover, piller Box, partitions and bottom cable entry covers duly painted with one coat of redoxide and two coats of synthetic enamel paint including control wiring complete in LT piller box with 1.5 sq mm FRLS copper conductor cable and 5A MCB SPs 2.5 amp for meters, breaker control supply and indication lamps and provision to accommodate the following: (a) 3 ph+1N Copper busbar of equal sizes of capacity 1.5 times of rated current of incoming switchgear. (b) 3 ph+1N Copper busbar of equal sizes of capacity 1.5 times of rated current of outgoing switchgears as down links/connectivity links to switchgear.

(c) Digital ammeter & voltmeter for incoming & Digital ammeter for outgoing. (d) LED indication lamps for RYB for incoming and outgoing indication.(Red,yellow & blue coloured) (e) LT ACB – 630Amps, 4P, 50KA, complete with over current and earth fault tripping device as incomer -01No (g) MCCB - 400 Amps, 3P, 36KA complete with over current and earth fault tripping device as out going-02No (h) MCCB - 250 Amps, 3P, 36KA complete with over current and earth fault tripping device as outgoing-01No Note : (i) Unit rate quoted include for necessary grouting / chipping of concrete and Anchor fastners and providing necessary PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone agreegate for foundation to fix the LT Piller Box. (v) The pillar box shall be brought to Jetty gallery part by part and to be assembled in site being limited space of work/movement and rate shall deemed to be included in quoted rate. (vi) Copper busbars with pvc sleeves shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item in this schedule as 'Supply only'
