STRUCTURAL REPAIR AND PAINTING TO HANGERS AND OTHER BUILDING AND MISC REPAIR WORKS IN TECHNICAL AREA AT AF STATION TEZPUR UNDER GE (AF) TEZPUR

S & F in repair cast iron bend of 75 mm & 100 mm nominal bore at 4th floor outer side of building above existing ground level and also remove all vegitation around existing cast iron pipe incl. all cutting holes where required, removal of old existing CI bend and fixing of new CI bend, finishing the internal & external surfaces by plastering, jointing with existing CI pipe and finally finish the surface matching with existing surface complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Approx Height of work : 13 m to 14 m. (ii) Contrator should arrange necessary scaffolding to access at above given height of building and cost of scaffolding included in quoted rate. (iii) Location : Building No P/1040.

M&L for prepartion of old 192 Nos iron angle bracing of size 65 mm x 65 mm x 6 mm and applying two coat of acid resistant paint over one coat of primer from ground floor to 4th floor of outer side of building complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Location : Building No P/1040. (ii) Approx height of work from FFL is 20 m. (iii) Contractor should arrange scaffolding to reach upto height of bldg and all preparatory arrangement incl. scaffolding is included in quoted rate.

S&F rolled mild steel as in joist, channel, angle or tee section, fixed independently with connecting base plate etc. as in bracing of building bend to shape, holes drilled/ notches cut out to receive MS bolts from ground floor to 4th floor of building including dismantling of rusted iron angle and preparing of new iron angle bracing and applying two coat of acid resistant paint over one coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Location : Building No P/1040. (ii) Approx height of work is 7 m from FFL. (iii) Contractor should arrange scaffolding with labour safety precaution to reach upto 4th floor height and cost of it is included in quoted rate.

M&L for making operational manually operarted hangar door of size 5.00 Mtr x 8.00 Mtr (W x H) approx per leaf, hangar door is mounted on wheel track, make wheels track operational by cleaning the track and removal of all dust/ soil and disposed off at 50 m distance incl. necessary welding if required to maintain the alignment of wheels with track on both top and bottom side of track including material required if any like angle, Tee, MS flats, hollow section etc, including painting to new items to match with existing, oiling/ greasing completely all as per site requirement and making operational complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) Contractor should arrange necessary Scaffolding (if required) to acces the height of hangar door and cost of scaffolding shall be included in Quoted rate. (b) Details of Building Nos as under :- (i) Hangar 14 (MTR&S Hanger) - 06 Nos doors. (ii) Hangar 22 (Old HU Hanger) - 08 Nos doors. (iii) Hangar 23 (Old Tech Flt Hanger No 1) - 08 Nos doors. (iv) Hanger 24 (Old Tech Flt Hanger No 2) - 08 No doors.

Material and labour for making operational manually operarted hangar door of size 9.00 Mtr x 8.40 Mtr (W x H) approx per leaf, hangar door is mounted on wheel track, make wheels track operational by cleaning the track and removal of all dust/ soil and disposed off at 50 m distance incl. necessary welding if required to maintain the alignment of wheels with track on both top and bottom side of track including material required if any like angle, Tee, MS flats, hollow section etc, including painting to new items to match with existing, oiling/ greasing completely all as per site requirement and making operational complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Location : Building No Hangar-39 (Old 02 Sqn Hangar). (ii) Contractor should arrange necessary Scaffolding (if required) to acces the height of hangar door and cost of scaffolding shall be included in Quoted rate.

M&L for making operational manually operarted hangar door of size 9.50 Mtr x 8.75 Mtr (W x H) approx per leaf, hangar door is mounted on wheel track, make wheels track operational by cleaning the track and removal of all dust/ soil and disposed off at 50 m distance incl. necessary welding if required to maintain the alignment of wheels with track on both top and bottom side of track including material required if any like angle, Tee, MS flats, hollow section etc, including painting to new items to match with existing, oiling/ greasing completely all as per site requirement and making operational complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Location : Building No Hangar-40 (Old 106 Sqn Hangar). (ii) Contractor should arrange necessary scaffolding (if required) to acces the height of hangar door and cost of scaffolding shall be included in Quoted rate.

Material and labour for making operational electrically operarted hangar door of size 5.20 Mtr x 10.00 Mtr (W x H) approx per leaf, hangar door is mounted on wheel track, make wheels track operational by cleaning the track and removal of all dust/ soil and disposed off at 50 m distance incl. tighting of nut, bolts on upper side of hangar door and necessary welding if required to maintain the alignment of wheels with track on both top and bottom side of track including material required if any like angle, Tee, MS flats, hollow section etc., replace unserviceable nuts and bots with new one of same dia and thickness including painting to new items to match with existing, oiling/ greasing completely all as per site requirement and making operational complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) Contractor should arrange necessary scaffolding (if required) to access the height of hangar door and cost of scaffolding shall be included in Quoted rate. (b) Details of Building Nos as under:- (i) P-1025 (Hangar 02 Sqn) - 09 Nos doors. (ii) P-1026 (Hangar 106 Sqn) - 09 Nos doors.

M&L for making operational electrically operarted hangar door of size 8.25 Mtr x 8.00 Mtr (W x H) approx per leaf, hangar door is mounted on wheel track, make wheels track operation by cleaning the track and removal of all dust/ soil and disposed off at 50 m distance incl. tighting of nut, bolts on upper side of hangar door and necessary welding if required to maintain the alignment of wheels with track on both top and bottom side of track including material required if any like angle, Tee, MS flats, hollow section etc., replace unserviceable nuts and bots with new one of same dia and thickness including painting to new items to match with existing, oiling/ greasing completely all as per site requirement and making operational complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Location : Building No P-992 (ALH Hangar). (ii) Contractor should arrange necessary scaffolding (if required) to acces the height of hangar door and cost of scaffolding shall be included in Quoted rate.)

S&F 0.71 mm thick Plain, Aluminium sheeting, Alloy 31000 H4 in valley gutter, ridges, hips, drip and straight flashing of hangars/sun shelters in Tech Area fixed with self tapping screw to prevent leakage and seepage through gutter of sun shelter, gutter should be in single piece but maximum two joints may be allowed with minimum 75 cm overlap but in measurnment purpose only whole length will be considered, including overlap portion shall be completly filled with silicon adhesive compound and it should be air tight complete including dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting any guage and any thickness in roof covering all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) After replacemnet of gutter, it will be checked by flowing of water through gutter if it appears that there is no leakage through gutter then it will be consider for payment (b) Contractor should ensure safety of worker and also arrange ladder/ hydraulically operated mechanical operated ladder/ manually operated ladder etc. and cost of all will be included in quoted rate. (c) Approx height of work - 6 to 7 m.

Fixing only Pre-painted galvalume steel sheet plain/corrugated including dismantling complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) Earthing strip shall be detached safely before separation of galvalume sheet of sun-shelter and refixing at same location after fixing of galvalume sheet and cost of it will be included in the quoted rate. (b) Approx height of work - 6 to 7 m.

M&L for butyl & bitumen based flashing tapes/ strips 100 mm wide are cold applied self - adhesive tapes with one side bitumen adhesive protected by release film and other side is re-enforced aluminum foil to prevent leakages, fill cracks & joints for metal, cement asbestos, fiber, plastic, vinyl etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Approx height of roof - 6 to 7m.

M & L applying silicon based adhesive in joints of existing galvalume/ CGI / GI Shets to make it water proof applied with manually operated guns complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old surfaces of hangar door, hangar, sunshelter and applying one coat synthetic enamel paint with spray painting by mechanical compressor diesel/ electrically operated painting machine for painting of hangar door, hangar, sunshelter and other similar type of Bldgs complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Contractor shall arrange necessary scaffolding to acess height of hangar door, hangar and sunshelter and the cost of all included in quoted rate.

M&L second class hardwood timber framed work clean sawn in scantling complete including dismantling of timber scantling 40 Sqcm and over in sec in any position as in framed work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing new wood & wood based surfaces of any descriptions exc 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for refixing of steel rolling shutters pull and push type or gear operated in same opening including cleaning the side of shutters, suspension shaft and guide channels and greasing all the moving parts of rolling shutters and straightening of bolts and nuts as required for smooth functioning of shutters and re-fixing the same including hood cover complete (any extra nuts and bolts required of appropiate size are to be supplied and fixed by contractor) including taking down steel rolling shutters pull and push or gear operated type of any size including hood cover, suspension shaft, guide channels etc. complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Area of clear opening will be measured)

S&F in repair Ball bearing in rolling shutter of any size complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair Spring of size 450 mm to 600 mm as per existing rolling shutter of any size complete all as specified and as directed

S&F in repair Turbo ventilator 600 mm diameter having vortex blade made up of industrial grade aluminium; 42 vens of 0.5 mm thick. The turbine shaft and the bracings shall be of stainless steel-304 grade. It shall have double shielded deep groove well balance ball bearing. At 6 Km/hr wind velocity, the turbo ventilator shall give the output of 2300 Cum/hr +/- 10% including complete all as specified and as directed. ( Note :- Contractor shall arrange to access roof shed for fixing turbo ventilator and the cost of it shall be ncluded in quoted rate.)

M & L for repairing of holes of Galvalume or CGI sheets roof by applying silicon based adhesive with manually operated guns to make repair area of roof completely water proof all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Contractor shall arrange manually operated or hydraulically operated ladder to reach at roof of given building and cost of it should be included in quoted rate. (ii) List of Bldgs are, P/992, P/1025, P/1026, R&D Bay of 2 Sqn and 106 Sqn etc.

Taking down of existing asbestos cement, corrugated or semi-corrugated sheets fixed with L-type or J-type or cranked hook bolts in roofs, walls, etc. and refixing in same location after repairing of truss, complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa using as in roof covering/cladding to wall and fixed with self tapping screws as specified including dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof covering complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down of existing aluminium door any size and any type including also taking down floor hydraulic door closer (if required) carefully from the existing frame and repair the same for smooth operation/ movement, including replacing of door handle, aluminium hinge, rubber bead etc and refixing in the same location after repairing all components complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair double action floor spring hydraulically regulated made up of minimum 1.25 mm thick aluminium alloy sheet foundation box,main body with stainless steel cover,governing pivot made of brass,other parts made of mild steel heavy duty and complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair toughened glass in two layers 6 mm thick inside and 6 mm thick outside seperated by 12 mm air gap complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old plastered or unplastered wall or concrete surfaces and applying one coat of exterior emulsion paint (weather coat) in camouflage pattern , any shade or colour as approved complete all as specified and as directed.
