Complete removal of existing treatment from surfaces of ceilings by scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots with wire brushes and removing existing loose particles etc., and applying two coat of acrylic emulsion distemper over a coat of alkali resistant primer over two coats of internal grade wall care putty (the total thickness shall not be less than 1.50mm), finished even and smooth, complete all as specified and directed.

Coloured UPVC window / ventilators / fixed glazing :- Window frame shall be made of UPVC material conforming to IS 10151 the door frame shall be made of extruded UPVC sections having overall dimension of 48mm x 40mm to 42mm x 50mm having wall thickness 2mm ± 0.2mm. Corners of wall frame shall be joined by MS galvansied brackets, joints mitred and plastic welded, the hinge sidevertical outer frame shall be reinforced with galvanised MS tube of wall thickness 1mm ± 0.1mm and tie rod shall be provided at bottom of frame. The profiles shall be three chamber system which shall provide high insulation properties. The hardward like friction stays, handles shall be screwed with self taping screws handle locks shall be designed so that they can not be released from outside. The glazing shall be with 5mm thick plain float glass for doors / windows and 3mm thick pin headed glass for ventilators, complete all as specified and directed.

Powder coated aluminium doors with 5.50mm thick tinted glass, necessary aluminium mongery and hinges, floor springs, complete all as specified and directed.

Masonite door shutters, 32mm thick, duly PVC coated, factory made as mentioned below, complete all as specified and directed (a) Single or Multi Panel 32 mm thick textured Masonite molded door shall be fabricated using well seasoned and chemically treated solid second class hardwood timber styles, rails and panels made out of tubular core bonded with PF Synthetic resin confirming to BWP grade of IS : 848. Both faces shall be covered by hot pressing with High Density Fibre (HDF) of 2.8 to 3 mm thick imported Masonite skins. The door design with texture and shade as approved by Asst. Garrison Engineer shall be provided. (b) The panels shall be with or without arch configuration. (c) The door shall be melamine polished as per the directions of AGE(I). (d) The doors shall be fixed to the frame with Brass hinges of 100 mm size. (e) Applying 0.3 mm thick Rigid PVC membrane which is waterproof, scratch resistant and of approved colour and texture over HDF skin. Towel rail 600mm long of PTMT fixed with and including chromium plated brass screws and wooden/plastic cleats. (Minimum weight 190gms), complete all as specified and directed.

Bib taps (fancy type) with chromium plated wall flange, cast copper alloy, chromium plated, two-way with single knob, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule and fixed in repairs, 15mm bore, complete all as specified and directed.

Stop valves, cast copper alloy, fancy type, chromium plated, with chromium plated wall flange, screwed down, high pressure with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions and fixed in repairs, 15mm bore, complete all as specified and directed.

Pillar taps, cast copper alloy, with capstan heads, fancy type, chromium plated, screwed down high pressure, with or without lettered 'Hot' or 'Cold' with long screwed shanks and fly-nuts, screwed for iron pipe and fixed, 15mm bore dia of pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6.3mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25m deep below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to GI earth strip of size 32mm x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts, washers of galvanised iron or steel, GI earth strip shall be protected by 40mm dia GI pipe 'light grade', watering pipe 20mm dia GI pipe 'medium grade', GI wire meshed funnel, alternate layer of charcoal and salt on all side to earth plate upto a thickness of 150mm, filling of black cotton soil in earth pit upto GL, and connected to earth plate including necessary excavation & earthwork, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 earth chamber, 40mm thick precast RCC cover (1:2:4) type B1 mix with 6mm dia nominal reinforcement @ 100mm c/c both ways etc complete all as shown in electrical plate No.3 connected to earthing test point, including testing on completion, complete all as speciified and as directed. NOTE:- (a) Rate quoted shall deemed to include cost of excavation in any type of strata, RFR and removal upto 50metre, PCC pit, funnel and RCC cover plate. (b) Earth continuity conductor including GI protection pipe beyond 7.5metre shall be measured and paid under respective items of this Schedule.
