Supply of good quality aluminium alloy clamps and conductors should meet the technical criterion menstioned below: - (a) Free from blow holes , surface blisters , cracks and cavities and all sharp edges and corner shall be blurred and rounded off. (b) Clamps and connector should be designed to carry same current as the conductor. (c) All current carrying parts should have minimum contact resistance and minimun thickness of 10mm. (d) Aluminium/Bimetallic clamps made from aluminum confirming to IS 617. (e) Clamp, connectors etc. having Bolts, Nuts and Plain washers should be hot dip galvanised.
