GE/CHD/T-44/2026-27 REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL SUPPLY, POLES, CABLES AND CONNECTED WORKS AT MIL STATION NAHAN

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth; forming bottom surfaces to the required gradient and slope for laying of cable, foundation or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pierholes, etc. not exceeding 10 sq. metre on plan and getting out complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick each,excavated soil in soft/loose soil, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing of surplus soil/ excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Brick protection for LT cable with sub class "B" bricks laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps between adjacent bricks not exceeding 10mm with width equal to length complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Clean dry sand laid in trenches/ducts for bedding and cushioning to cable, 8cm in depth before laying the cable and 15 cm in depth after laying the cable including spreading, levelling and consolidation complete all as specified and directed. Note : Consolidated/punned sand shall be measured for payment purpose.
