Supply only chlorination chemical (calcium hypoclorite) offering 65% to 70% available chlorine highly efficient (high strength) calcium based granular disinfectant more stable in sealed container of 45 Kgs, nil sodium/iron/mercury/heavy metal contaminations. Note:- (i) The contractor has to produce manufacturer’s test certificate and paid vouchers while supply of calcium based granular disinfectant. (ii) The calcium based granular disinfectant shall be brought at site in sealed plastic container of appropriate capacity size. (iii) The brand of chemical shall be approved by GE before incorporation.

Supply only of liquid chlorine gas filled in 100 Kgs capacity gas cylinder (Empty Gas Cylinder with control valve & safety cap shall be provided by the Deptt) Note: (i) The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of testing the cylinder for any leakage/defects. (ii) The defective part such as cylinder control valve, safety cap, valve Key etc replaced shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of Sch ‘A’ as supply only.

Supply only cylinder valve key as per existing make.

Supply only techno valve or cylinder control valve suitable for 100 kg cap chlorine gag cylinder as per existing make.

Supply only MS caps suitable for 100 kg capacity chloring gas cylinder as per existing make.

Supply only empty chloring gas cylinder of capacity 100 kgs with control valve, safety cap and other necessary connected items as specified and directed as per existing make.

Supply only copper sulphate for potable water. Copper sulphate pentahydrate content 98%. Impurities limit : (i) Free sulphate and 0.2% max (ii) Iron as FE ppm 200 max toxic substances limit as ppm of product (CuSO4 5H2O (i) Arsenic (AS)-05 (ii) Cadmium (Cd) (iii) Chromium (Cr)-05 (iv) Mercury (hg)-0.1 (v) Nickel(Ni) - 100, Lead(pb)-70. the copper sulphate sould be (i) powder or crystal (ii) deep blue colour and solubility 266g/L(20degree) all as confirming to IS and specified.

Supply only Alum crystal contains balanced amount of ferric, purity, longer shelf life high effectiveness, accurate composition and precise ph value:- (i) Alumina 12-15% (ii) Insoluble matter 2-4 max (iii) iron 0.5-1 (iv) ph of 5% solution 2.9 and colour – Grey/Brown. The each container shall be legibly & indelibly marked or labeled with the following :- (i) Name of product (ii) Grade( for chlorinated lime) (iii) Name and address of the manufacturer and/or local distributor (including country of origin) (iv) Trade mark and net mass of the contents in kilograms.

Supply only chemical PE(Polyelectrolite) required to achieve desired parameter of treated water and required spares of operation of the plant, at least one month requirement of the materials required shall be kept at site at a time etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Chagre.

Note: Old unserviceable materials retrieved from above items shall be deposited in MES store yard.
