Percolation well:- Construction of RCC Percolation Wells of 6.00 mtrs. Dia and 16.00 mtrs deep including excavation in all kinds of soil strata, dewatering, erection and lowering of well curb in the pit in M30 grade, no fine concrete, CC Work in M30, with platform 1.2 mtrs wide in steel with railing, plinth protection all around 1.5 mtrs wide with 2.4 mtrs high barbed Pannel Fencing, pre painted sheet for roofing of approved shade sloped roof with truss for load of chain pulley block 1 MT capacity. The other requirements/ specifications shall be as per Data sheet No.1 of volume III. All works shall be conforming to relevant IS Codes and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge. Pump House:- Construction of RCC Framed pump housecomprising of office room, attendent room, automation room, transformer room, chowkidar quarter and pannel houses, automation room, room for water testing lab (category-II) & toilet Block of size 1.5 X 1.70 mtrs. each with provision of all fixtures, fittings, septic tank, C.I. Pipe connection in all respect shall be included in plinth area rates. Doors & shutters (other than main opening which is with rolling shutters) shall be of aluminium. The outer doors & Window shall be in double shutters and aluminium grills for windows. Internal wiring shall be in PVC conduit shall be constructed for installation of pumping machinery along with storage space for Tools and Plants. The pump house shall be constructed (aesthetically good and well ventilated) in RCC framed structure as per site conditions. The pump house shall be constructed to provide positive suction for pumps, and shall also have the provision of well designed overhead gantry girder of 0.50 MT capacity for easy movement of pumps and motors.
Foundation along with/ anchored bolt of suitable length for pumps and motors shall be provided as per manufactures requirement. Floor of pump house shall have proper arrangement for drainage and various cables running from panel board to motors. All the associated civil works such as approach pathway, development of site including connections from Percolation/ Tube well through inlet pipe, internal & external electrical wiring and necessary accessories like tube lights, ceiling fan, exhaust fan, minimum 6 Nos HPSV (High power sodium vapour) lamps/500 watts flood lights of Bajaj, Crompton, Phillips make mounted on suitable height of MS poles, supporting works to common header shall be done by the contractor/firm after final approval of department. The pump houses should be fenced with boundary wall (Brick masonry in CM. 1:6) and Gate of suitable size. In case of Square rubble masonry/ ashlar masonry only inner face shall be plastered in CM 1:6 and V/U groove pointing shall be done in CM 1:4. The Rain water pipes of 100 mm dia concealed cast iron shall be provided to drain of rain water from the roof of building painted with black bituminous paints shall also be provided. The landscaping of the pump house complex shall be given by the contractor/firm so as to give good aesthetic appearance. ( Data Sheet No.2 Vol.III)

AUTOMATION OF ENTIRE SYSTEM : The tenderer/firm shall automate the scheme a/w Pumping machinery & other units (as per Technical Specifications given in Vol-II) scheme upto MBR-1 & five storage tanks (As decided by the Engineer-in-Charge) and shall be automated in such a way that these are automattically operated at pre fixed hours/ time or any other logic decided by the department and operated from main SCADA centre at Rajour Pump house. The entire automation is to be carried out as per the technical data sheets for Electrical, Instrumentation and automation works Volume III in accordance with the technical specifications for automation attached in Volume II. Electromagnetic flow meters of approved makes shall be provided at each storage reservoir outlets and its output in the shape of total quantum of water delivered in a hour day and month shall be generated at main control station. O & M includes the regular i.e., daily supply of designed/required quantity of potable water having water quality as per of water supply standard/protocol to the beneficiaries of the scheme up to main storage/delivery tank, from source to Main sector storage tanks at different locations as per plan and repair and maintenance of main lines. Gravity Lines, and entire distribution system alongwith maintenance of automised system of scheme. Regular maintenance of all the facilities including cleaning, washing, oil and greasing repair, replacement of worn out/damaged part of pumping machinery. pipe line, valves and electrical, Mechanical requirements, regular cleaning of all structures like storage tanks, sumpwells, intakes, channels, collection/distribution channels/pump house etc. and the disposal of the same as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. It includes fixing /repairing/leakage in structure, channel, pipe line, pumping
machinery etc. & proper distribution of treated water and regular testing of water samples and required stages of treatment. Keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and quality, repair and maintenance work, chemical dosing and time and hours of run of pumping machinery, removal of all akind of slips, slush, uprooting of unwanted grass, shrubs, weeds etc growing near the structure and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Planting and maintaining plants of the flowers/trees around the Pump Houses/ Storage tanks/Sump wells etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. It includes the cost of procurement of edequate and proper tools and plants, skilled & unskilled manpower, spare-parts, oil, grease, lubricants, chemicals and all kinds of regents required for water sample testing, refilling of gaseous cylinders including mechanical and head load carriage etc. and making standby arrangement all times, instruments, equipments, stationary and any other material etc. required for O& M excluding the cost of energy charges. All the operations shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO Manual of the water supply and treatment( with latest addition(, HPPWD/HPIPH specifications, HPIPH Department norms and directions issued by the Engineer-in-Charge from time to time and sound Engineering practices.(Refer Vol-II-Technical specifications & Vol-III, Data Sheet No,-13) For Five Years
