Fabrication and Replacement of Pipelines in PAP, FACT-CD.

Fabrication and Erection of CS / SS pipes in PA Plant Area : Work involves : Collection / transportation of required materials from stores. CS / SS pipe lines shall be fabricated and erected with necessary fittings to suit the site condition, for the replacement of damaged pipe lines, installing new lines, modification and re-routing of steam and water lines phosphoric acid lines, sulphuric Acid lines etc. Service the line with out any leakage. Size of pipes vary from 25NB to 300NB.

Fabrication of Pipes, Bends, Reducers, Tees for Rubberlining: Work involves : Collection / transportaion of required materials from stores. CS / MS pipe lines, bends, reducers, Tees etc. with flanges shall be fabricated to suit the site condition. Flange joints shall be welded properly at inside and outside. Edges and weld joints shall be ground properly for rubber lining. Fabricated items shall be transported to rubber lining area. After completing the rubber lining, items shall be transported to earmarked area for stacking. Size of pipes and fittings vary from 50NB to 600NB. The required length of pipes and fitting [from 0.5 m to 6 mtrs] shall be taken from the site as per the instructions of Engineer - in – Charge. Rubber lining is not in the scope of this work.

Replacement / Erection of CS Rubber lined pipes and fittings. Work involves: Collection / transportation of rubber lined pipes and fittings from store / rubber lining area / plant area to the site. Damaged rubber lined pipes and fittings shall be dismantled from the site at various position / elevation / pipe bridges, after getting the process clearance. Suitable rubber lined pipes and fittings shall be erected with proper gaskets and tight the flange joint to avoid any leakage. Service the line with out any leakage. Transport the damaged pipeline to earmarked area for repair/scrap as instructed by engineer in charge. Size varies from 50NB to 600NB.

Structural works of pipe supports: Work involves: Collection / transportation of required materials from stores / plant area. Fabrication and erection / replacing necessary pipe supports / clamps as required at site.

Fabrication and fixing of pipe clamps: Work involves: Collection / transportation of required materials from stores / plant area. Fabrication and fixing of pipe clamps for leaky pipes from 50NB to 600NB.

Repair Of Flanges: Arrange the necessary tools and consumable required for the work. Dismanling the mating flange/pipeline for repairing the damaged flange. Repair of flange face at site by cutting, welding and grinding as instructed by Engineer-in-Charge. Fix back the mating flange/pipieline with new gasket and servicing without leak.

Dismantling, Servicing and Refixing of Valves: Arrange necessary tools and tackles for the work. Dismounting valves from position, dismantling, cleaning, assembling and fixing back in position with new gasket and servicing without leak. In case the valve is found damaged as inspected and confirmed by Engineer-in-Charge, collect and transport spare valve from workshop/store as instructed by Engineer-in-Charge, and fix it in position with new gasket and servicing without leak and transport the damaged valve to Workshed for servicing or Scrapyard. Size ranging from 100 NB to 300 NB.

Replacement Of Flanged Hose: Arrange necessary tools and tackles for the work. Dismantle damaged hose and replace with new hose and service without leak as intructed by Engineer-in-Charge, transport the damaged hose to earmarked area for scrap/scrapyard.

Reclamation of usable flanges : Reclamation of old and usable flanges from scrap pipes by cutting, welding and grinding, transporting to workshop for machining and transporting it back to the plant..
