Restoration of Rain Damages of Water Supply Scheme for Mandi Town from Uhl River in Distt Mandi HP

Hiring of Hydraulic Excavator cum loader for cutting in earth work, removal of slips, cleaning of drains and catch pit / dressing of berm in all kinds of soil and trimming of side slopes and disposing of earth upto any lead from various sites of work with in all leads and lifts and to entir satisfaction of Engineer - in - Charge. Any loss to the public / private property or any accident etcetera happened during the course of hiring period shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor. The repair and spares including watch and ward of machines shall also be borne by the contractor/owner. The daily log book will be maintained at site which should be duly verified by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Construction of Coffer Dam of Puddle Bags with Clay & Sand etc. as directed by Engineer - in -Charge in all leads and lifts.

Hiring of Hydraulic Excavator (210 TATA Hitechi or its equivelent) 1.00/1.35 Cum (one point zero zero/one point three five cubic metres) bucket capacity to be deployed for cutting/excavating including cost of fuel oil lubricants and wages of operating staff. Any repair/breakage during operation will be carried out by the Contractor/owner at his own risk and cost including shifting of machinery from one place to other place will be absolute responsibility of the Contractor. only actual working hours will be accounted for the payment earth cutting/removal of slips, excavation in all kinds of soil including loading in to tipper/trucks and disposal of all excavated earth in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Provision of Diversion of Water including Dewatering with 50.00 HP Pump with Generator during construction @ 0.75 hours per cubic meters excavation in river bed complete job in all respect.

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level with minimumm 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand): 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) in all leads and lifts.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level. Mild steel and Medium Tensile steel bars in all leads and lifts.

Terms and conditions

The work should be executed as per PWD/JSV specifications and to the entire satisfactions of the Engineer-in Charge.

The Cement and Steel Shall be issued by the Deptt. at JSV Divisional store Raghunath Ka Padhar Mandi cement @ 368/- per bag & Steel Rs. 7615/-only per qtl.

The Contractor will be fully responsible for watch and ward of material at site of work.

Nothing shall be paid for rejected/sub-standard material at site of works.

Concrete work shall be done by using vibrator and concrete mixing plant.

Crushed aggregate will be used in concrete work.

Material should be used of approved quarry.

The work should be completed in the stipulated period.

The rates should be inclusive with GST and carriage

1% labour cess will be deducted from the bill of the contractor.

GST as applicable will be borne by the contractor.
